Another great video with so much valuable information. I'm now 10 years in bee keeping but didn't know that about the "do not touch" days 10-12 of the queen developing her wings. Thanks' so much for sharing.
Great tool!! I’ve got a similar one that someone passed to me. I never used it because I just haven’t done a lot of grafting. But still, very convenient.
We will start grafting around the third week of March. Looking forward to using your queen rearing sheet you shared. We have been marking our mating nucs with different color duct tape to indicate which batch (date of grafting) for easy indication.
I was laughed at when I said I track in excel and my sheet looks very similar to yours. If you are serious about multiple rounds of grafts, this is a powerful tool to not only stay organized, but the shift timings when life changes your plans.
Very useful! The weather spark link is very interesting as well. We are closer to April 1st before we get in the 50's at night on average but we had lots of swarms about 7-10 days earlier than that last year so I guess we will keep an eye on the 10 day as we get closer to that date. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Chuck, really enjoyed your video and others. Following you and subscribed now. This has given me more confidence to do all the work making starters, finishers, pulling nucs, and following the calendar. Great presentation! You should expect a great following!

Several rounds get complicated. Need to stay organized.
Good stuff Chuck! I am going to give queen rearing a try this year. Thinking about trying the Cloake Board method.
That is a good technique. Plain old double screen board can work too.
Great info thanks

Thank you for that generous feedback@@gregcrenshaw5206
good info/timeline. good KISS principle
Appreciate it!
For us using OA Vapor do you have a preferred date to do a vaporization for it to be most effective? ~6 Days after she starts laying?
I do it based on mite counts
Is there any way you could share your spreadsheet?
Did the link in the description not work for you?
Got it thank you
Dream Big brother 🙏
Is it to late in the year to graft now April 1st or so?
Not at all. Go for it. I graft once a week
