hi Lyn, they been potted up lovely, they really enjoy all that extra light, looking forwards to see how they grow compared to my ones at home. funny thing is the Euphorbia 3:32 it may not be cold hardy but it has had some very cold nights even when we had -8c outside and in a unheated conservatory luckily it seemed to be ok, i don't know if ive helped it be more cold hardy as since youngish its seen cold nights. but as you said they should not be cold hardy so taking chances each cold night i guess . they look great potted up and they look bigger too, looking forward to see how they grow, think they do very well in your polytunnel so much even light its amazing. happy growing, Plant Power x
Awwww thanks so very much Steve, I had a brilliant time potting up these awesome new beauties you gave me, and they are settling in really well in the polytunnel, thats amazing with the Euphorbia mammillaris having some very cold nights, I think a lot of Euphorbias may be a lot cold hardier than we think, I used to have my Euphorbias in an unheated conservatory when I lived in the south of Ireland and it used to drop to just 2c in there a lot of nights over the winter and all the Euphorbia was absolutely fine, thanks a BILLION again Steve for all of these stunning new beauties they are all absolutely gorgeous, and thanks so much for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from Hans and me to Kenilworth for a fantastic Thursday today XXXX
Hey Steven!! Wow what beauties you sent Lyn and Hans they look incredible potted up and it’s so cool you’ve grown them from seed!!! I’m yet to “succeed” at that lol 🌵🌵🌵🌵
@@desertplantsofavalon really glad you great time potting them up :). all i will say with the Euphorbia your now the new keeper so totally up to you if you keep out or take in for winter, i just want to give you the heads up how they been kept and they can do surprisingly well in cold , i have another one but more dense its green with red spines i think you have one that has spent last 7-8 years as it was with my first three in a bowl the first three i bought after a long break school years so a while and to start i never put the heater on so it had lots very cold winter nights, but now learnt a lot more it still get same treatment as my other cacti and plants but its now a bit more away from the window . since i got those three what still got few very tall now compared to when i got them. all thanks to you ive learned a lot and my cacti thank you for it, today got two in flower and one starting to show signs it about to put out 4 flower stems so they must be pretty happy, since them three now im almost out space and now have an idea how they should grow so recent getting more what do not take a lot space. soon build my units still not got around to it i prob get some other what grow quite big but for now got some what grow well over 7ft tall . have happy Friday, plant power x
@@DannyRose-nw9yd Thank you Danny, potting up it surprised me a bit too as they came out small pots you get from the shop with small plants so few ready to be potted up. don't give up trying to grow cacti from seed, may try a few other sellers. but saying that this year ive prob lost 60 cacti , ive started new using a grow box i built so still getting to grips but others been very god one tray has must be 50 and all other trays 15-30 and 2-4 types in each so this year not been a wash out ive had to buy more seeds to fill the gaps and not all those worked but happy i got a good number growing. seeds can be very hit and miss and ive prob got a few trays i little to wet its finding that balance/heat/light so key thing keep trying different awys different locations who know you may surprise yourself. this week i went mad and ordered 150 living stone seeds and new lights what bit more power than my current not all will if any will grow, try try and try you never know. key thing have fun doing it experiment

All looking very good, Lyn. I've got a load of Trichocereus Taquimbalensis plants that I grew from seed and although the arioles look very similar, the colouring is much paler - more of a yellowish green. I wonder if it's just different genetics or possibly the growing conditions are different. I've worried they might be short on Nitrogen, but they have been fed and not changed so I think I've ruled this out. In any case, they are beautiful plants. Wishing you both lots of Taquimbalensis power from northern Spain 🙂💚🌵
Thats fantastic that you have lots of Trichocereus taquimbalensis you have grown from seed Donald, it could be due to different genetics with yours being a more yellow green, the crazy thing with many of my Trichocereus seedlings from the same batch of seed is how different they can look with their colour variation, the sun is shining in Ireland today and 20c temp a heatwave for Ireland haha, thanks so much Donald for your wonderful Friendship and amazing comment and support and for watching, and Hans and I are sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER to Northern Spain for a fantastic Wednesday today XXXX
