    Coming from a 2007 1.8 Civic, I always wanted to go for a 1st Gen TSX however so hard to find a mint one in low km and manual. 2nd gen I wasnt much of a fan but until I researched more, I ended up scoring a 2008 Accord EX which has the same K24z3 of the 2nd gen Tsx and Manual. even tho it is 5 spd, still pretty rare and I didnt expect I will be liking it alot and yes I got a pretty low km 98k miles . The second gen is better to live with daily especially one with the technology package, doesn’t feel like a over decade and a half old body style like it’s age says, for modding I would say k24a2 but with the new cams for the k24z3/z7 head I’m sure you’ll be at the same level stock v stock internals cause of the higher compression, also oil consumption was fixed in models after 2010 was a issue with piston rings, my 2013 with 150k burns 0 oil

    You need to check what you're saying in this video, some stuff is misleading and inaccurate. As a mechanic and owner of an 04 TSX, these cars do not have dual exhaust. It's a "Y-split" design, which is not true dual. True dual can only exist with a v6, v8, v10, v12 with exhaust pipe runners on both sides of the engine. An inline 4 or 6 or 8 etc, only has a single exhaust runner for a single pipe.

      What about the oil consumption in the 2nd gen

    • @flirtnwthdisaster2619
      @flirtnwthdisaster2619 2 роки тому

      @@Blackdynasty123 what oil consumption it barely uses oil however I am religious about preventative maintenance. But the only issue I really have had is the stupid tpms light coming on always but I can easily replace that but I just haven't taken the time to do it mainly because I'm not sure if it even needs replaced I just live in a cold climate on the Oregon coast so the tires don't ever really get warm enough to get a proper reading. But I I'm honest about my opinion on modifying the tsx I'd prefer to leave the tsx alone for a daily driver and instead modify a TL that is all wheel drive they cost about the same even.

    How is the interior noise on the first gen? I'm considering a TSX because my '09 Civic Si has a lot of road noise and the stock exhaust drones on the highway, my ears were literally in pain after a recent road trip.

    • @michaelcone4252
      @michaelcone4252  5 років тому +1

    • @mohamadhamad2786

      Could be your tires need balancing or they are just tires that make alot of road noise and you may have an exhaust leak.

    Our only options now is honda Accord if most parts of the world. If you are lucky Acura TLX is the alternative.

    CL9 is a much handsomer breed, especially after the '06 facelift. The 'beak' on the second gen as well as the plain-jane rectangular taillights make it a much uglier car. 2006 is the best year of all as there was no TPMS crap.
