1st gen >>>>
1st gen looks more aggressive especially with enkei nt03 rims lowered on spec A body kit. Google it
The headlights on the CU2 alone look like they're going to eat every car on the street.
great video, very informative. well done
Thanks bro
1 gen
I like both. Two different cars with two similar yet different characters, and I like them both for their own reasons. The biggest problem is that they're still overpriced as used cars.
I go with the 1st generation has the spoiler looks more sporty. Of course cause I own one first generation car.
You failed to mention that the 1st gen has the k24A and the second gen has the k24Z which is better also the 2nd gen has electronic power steering which is way smoother and less maintenance also the Bluetooth module in the second gen doesnt go bad like it commonly does in the first gen
What about the oil consumption in the 2nd gen
@@Blackdynasty123 what oil consumption it barely uses oil however I am religious about preventative maintenance. But the only issue I really have had is the stupid tpms light coming on always but I can easily replace that but I just haven't taken the time to do it mainly because I'm not sure if it even needs replaced I just live in a cold climate on the Oregon coast so the tires don't ever really get warm enough to get a proper reading. But I I'm honest about my opinion on modifying the tsx I'd prefer to leave the tsx alone for a daily driver and instead modify a TL that is all wheel drive they cost about the same even.
I think I’d go with the 2nd gen
How is the interior noise on the first gen? I'm considering a TSX because my '09 Civic Si has a lot of road noise and the stock exhaust drones on the highway, my ears were literally in pain after a recent road trip.
It’s very quite, if you have music on at any volume, you can’t hear anything at normal highway speeds
Could be your tires need balancing or they are just tires that make alot of road noise and you may have an exhaust leak.
Looks like the 1st Gen car in this video looks like a newer car since it has navigation.
It’s a 2007
Very good review. Thank you!
Which one would u recommend 1st or 2 gen ?
Simply call the tsx; accord premium; Acura only exists for the US and possibly Canada….. the rest of the world calls it: accord
it's NOT great on gas.
21 city/ 28 hwy /25 combine.
i get average about 23 mpg and most time 21 mpg.
Hmm, I have a 2nd Gen with the 6 speed Manual, and I legit hyermiled 1004km (628miles) out of 1 tank of gas. Normal driving I see 430miles a tank
My old 5AT TSX saw at best 25mpg once.
First gen > second gen because of non integrated exhaust manifold
I’m getting an aftermarket on my cu2
Excellent video !
So my 04 tsx engine blew can I swap it with a 2010 tsx engine ?
really good review. helped me decide
1st gen was one o md the best handling fwd cars. Second not so much...
Yes!! My old car was an 04 5AT TSX. Sure auto (didn't know how to drive standard then), but man the handling for its size just amazes me. Makes me want to cop an 06+ TSX and do a project on it.
2nd gen for mpg. I get 475 miles on a tank before the gas light comes on
does it only take premium? I thought I heard that regular is fine.
First gen looks better
The 2nd Gen killed off the existence of "TSX" and "accord euro". So how is that good?
Our only options now is honda Accord if most parts of the world. If you are lucky Acura TLX is the alternative.
Honda Australia 👎 sucks
I just bought a 1st gen 2006 TSX
Good stuff guys!!!!
So I tried to put all my belongings in the trunk and I couldn’t do it
Lol
CL9 is a much handsomer breed, especially after the '06 facelift. The 'beak' on the second gen as well as the plain-jane rectangular taillights make it a much uglier car. 2006 is the best year of all as there was no TPMS crap.
Second Gen looks 20x better
1st gen looks like the TL
Second for sure 🔥🔥🔥
I have a 2g, but I want a 1g, but won't sell the 2g to get it, I'll add the 1g to the fleet
I love my 06
2nd gen way more premium!
That's a great way to summarize the gen2.
It's more a Lux Cruiser
Yours is a 5 speed automatic that is..... some of us have a 1st gen 6speed
So First Generation is 2004 to 2008. Second is 2009 to 2014.
Yessir
1st generation because it's the one I have. 😆
Thx for the info.
1st Gen drives a bit better
Great comparisons
3500 vs 3300 lbs?? 😲😢😭
