- Today's cover's the lore behind Genshin Impact's infamous candle torch lighter: The Knights of Favonius' lone Outrider Amber.

I’m fully positive Amber will experience some form of growth during the main story in Sumuru. Amber’s time to shine is still ahead of us I think.

@@breedstix any other pyro fighters would take care of slimes. Barrels explode when hit by anything, so any archers would work.

God, PLEASE buff amber, she doesn't deserve to have such a god awful set of skills with such a cute design and nice backstory.
she just need increase AOE radius for the bunny.
A c4 amber is a game changer, her baron bunny alone gives so much energy now double that at c4 and manual detonation.
Ngl Amber's skill set is actually pretty nice. The only thing is the dmg that is lacking from both her E and Q...

She's cute, she has a lovely personality and now she has a sad backstory, why does she has to be so bad in the actual game I feel so bad just seeing her when I'm starting and picking up the expeditions
she can be good with the right build, and it's your choice to invest in her or not, she's 1 of my favourite character so i will do everything i can to make her strong because play with your favourite character and beat the game is the point of this game. You wouldn't want to play with a strong character you don't like right?
@@Mana-qp4uw you're right she can be good if you invest into her is just that others characters can do more for less effort, look I now that there's no bad characters but you can't deny that others are just better than her.
I know there's many out there who won't ever use her or look at her twice due to how underwhelming she is, so thank you for doing this! She's one of my favourites and she's currently sitting at lvl 80!

I had a feeling that Amber grandfather is a Fatui Harbringer, he seen by his old pal in Qingce Village 'Skulking around' which is a very Fatui thing to do (or out of shame).
There's a Habringer who have a Crying bird as symbol (Childe is whale), could mean someone who 'fly' (in this case gliding) but regrets so much that it saddens him ?
Idk man he could find that the knights were kinda corrupt and go for the Fatui for some reason, since he is defecting to 'enemy forces'. and yeah in the manga Amber's grandfather office is use by those corrupt knight.
If this the case, then it could be a great potential arc, and her training and powerup, it would be sick to see her meet Collei again and searching for Pyro God for powerup to 'save' her grandfather.
So, the pyro characters do have melancholic stories too. Kinda wanna know more about Xiangling, since Bennett’s and Diluc’s backstories are pretty sad too
It could theoretically have something to do with her mom. We never see Xiangling's mother.

Another thing that would be awesome is if we have him return to Mondstadt, and help him and Amber with restoring the reputation of the Outriders. That would be epic.
Agreed. I suspect we’ll be doing just that and getting a 5* Captain of the Outriders version of Amber In the process.
We’re probably going to see more of Amber in Sumeru (she’s the main character of the manga, along with Collei. It’s possible that Amber tags along with the traveler to see Collei, who currently resides in Sumeru)
In the manga someone mentioned that ambers grandfather died (shown in the video) so I doubt we're actually gonna meet him in-game 😢
I really love how all the characters possess one character trait on the face of it but they all have deeper backstories the more you look into them. Loving the lore videos!

Lmao, I upgraded amber up to ascention lvl 5 just because I can. I love it when combined with Fischl I can create overload so if the changes ever happened, thr enemy team will have a lot of explody
@@HuggyBuddyOwO Oh man. Your go to team scares me. I play on mobile, and I suck at bows. That's why I don't use her. I didn't summon on Childe for the same reason. Fischl, however, can throw out Oz. I haven't levelled her up her, but I'll think.
She is definitely far from useless! She always leads my party against the cryo regisvine and abyss mages since she is faster at knocking them down than Xiangling. As an appreciation of her abilities, I passed down to her Fischl's Compound Bow that I initially planned to feed to her Rust instead. 💕

With all this lore about Amber's lore. She reminds me of Kiana. Let's hope that she keeps her smile and is not transforming into a god of the Void.
With a new update, it's possible that we will meet with Amber's grandpa and understand the reason why he left Mondstadt. I bet it's something related with the Fatui, or regarding about his experience on Liuye or as you mentioned, the corruption behind the Knights.
But if she would become like HoV then who would be himeko?

I also suspect it’s the fatui. I kind of feel like his convoy may have been attacked as a result of a metal bird like that of Diluc’s convoy. He may have departed after realizing the similarities in the attacks to pursue new leads.

More than anything, Amber more represents the idea of Pyro's burning passion, yeah? Doesn't make sense for "War", more for "Freedom".
But Pyro goddess is God of War, there might be a reason why she bless Amber with Vision
People who call Amber useless is mistaken if built right she can do upwards too 30k-50k Dmg if u Crit hell maybe even 100k dmg because there's a video of showing that too lol

U dont need crit for amber only crit dmg because weak spots/heashots is guaranteed crit for bow users.. amber excels at weak spots, its in her talents
