From the way Donawon talks, it’s clear that having him as a manager or even a friend is a blessing! Too much knowledge

This podcast is brilliant. Recommended it to my son and daughter because it is enlightening. Some of us 55 + have lived mediocre lives, not achieved anything substantial because we don't have a vision like you are expressing. We want better for our kids who might see us as role model when in fact we may be a hinderence due to our lack of personal insight and ambition. We just work to survive and have no enterpreural flare and ability to motivate our children to achieve more. We don't learn who we are!

First time I'm ever hearing or seeing Donawon speak. He sounds so knowledgeable and profound, he also seems to have perfectly understood his method. So much to learn from this.

Murewa got me feeling like I am normal at the end of this episode when he said one of the reasons he can't have a roommate is because it doesn't reflect who he is. Sounded very deep and it obviously got Michael surprised, I would love some clarity on the statement. Personally, I never feel comfortable having a roommate, I think it has always been in me but it became very clear when I started having a room to myself and my love for personal space multiplied. For my kind of person, having a personal space, not necessarily the whole house, but definitely my room is an integral part of my functionality and mental health. It is very important that I do not share that with anybody as a constant. So even if I got a babe or a wife, we could spend nights together every now and then in her room or mine, but you see that 'your room is my room', I do not think it can ever be me. Murewa is this how it is for you or mine is way extreme?

"You can't tackle any industry when you don't understand life...for me, the purpose of living isn't even to find happiness, because what happens when tragedy strikes?... What the aim of life is, for me, is to embark on the greatest adventure possible...and when you do this, it refines your character by default. If you take on life with an ending goal, you have capped your ability to grow, because the moment you get that, everything becomes some sort of opposition...with more sucess, it's easy to be guarded...in order to be open, that can't be the focus...it should be, now that I have this (grammy) who am I?...Have I changed? If I didn't have this (grammy), how would I feel?...at no point have these things ever defined me. You have to get to that point before it (accolade) comes...you don't chase sucess, you become success, and then everything you do becomes successful as a result (of becoming success)...what does it mean to become a success? It's you aspiring for your higher version constantly. That's why I laugh when people say God doesn't exist...I'm like, look, whatever you place at the highest of your values serves the function of God for you whether you believe in that or not. If money is the highest thing on your value proposition, your interactions gear subconsciously towards that goal. For me, it couldn't be anything that can perish...because the moment it perishes, I have no identity." - Donawon.

lol..I'll take this with a pinch of salt. Remember the parable of the fig tree, lush green but it didn't produce any fruit and Jesus cursed it. In other words focus on your fruits as well they go before you.

@@henryugochukwu8398 same difference, the plant is what refused to bear fruits which is why it was what withered. Focus on the plant will cause it to bear fruit...if you focus on fruit and neglect the plant, you would sooner than later loose those fruits

Good episode, next time ask more questions like how he met Tems, plus how her major Collabs came about, if possible write the questions in other not to deviate, try to talk less about your own experiences, if you noticed it made him not complete the Story of his rise to stardom, make it brief if you should, concentrate on the getting first hand, never heard before exclusive information from your guest….more grease to your elbow

Hello Menism, while I commend you for your job well done in giving us men a platform for us to express, teach, learn & unlearn beliefs, ideologies, and cultural and social issues pertaining to men, I feel both Micheal and Muyiwa represent certain new demography of the Nigerian men (Yankee ties/mindset/middle-class upbringing and no real trenches experience/not married etc) i feel you'll need one more host, someone who has a different background/outlook/perspective as you. My own opinion; your show will only cater to a certain demography, and you might ultimately find yourself operating in a box (fanbase-wise) for lack of a better analogy, alte music genre is majorly appealing to just Genz/millennials, and what not, while afro beats got Dangote and sule from oshodi garage having something in common.
