You just managed to teach me the whole vectors side of Core 4 in 15 minutes better than my teacher could over the series of several weeks. Bravo, good sir, bravo.
Guthix Balance Hiya Guthix - thanks loads!!! A favour to ask....Any chance you could spare 30 secs to vote for HegartyMaths in this Richard Branson competition which ends in a few days. Would mean a lot to me and HegartyMaths. www.virginmediabusiness.co.uk/pitch-to-rich/start-up/hegartymaths/ Thanks Mr H
I guess Im asking randomly but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can offer me
Mr H, you don't understand how much you help out us students. On behalf of everyone, I would like to tell you that we greatly appreciate your help. You fully explained things that wasn't hard but things I didn't even know were on the syllabus. The way you organise your videos and playlists are amazing. Thank you so much for working in the career path that you do because you're significantly helping our lives. P.s. I'm pretty sure you have seen many of these messages but I had to put it out there. Keep doing what you do sir.
what annoys me about c4 is that i have all the knowledge to complete every part of a question, but my unorganised working means that i make at least one stupid mistake which carries through to an incorrect answer.
thank you soooo much i find you videos more useful than exam solutions as you go through solomon papers and your content is more relevant to the ocr spec - thank you :)
Hi Maryam. Thank you for your kind words - really happy my vids have helped. Best of luck in Core 4 and do let me know how you get on. Please share the channel with family, friends and school so I can help more pupils. Mr Hegarty
Quacktics are Go Hiya - thanks loads!!! A favour to ask....Any chance you could spare 30 secs to vote for HegartyMaths in this Richard Branson competition which ends in a few days. Hi. I will be doing several revision videos for integration including all the techniques you need for Core 4 So keep an eye out in the next few days Please spread the word of videos if you find helpful. Many thanks Mr Hegarty
Your explanation was really awesome. You made vectors simple and interesting for me. Thanks a lot. Hope you will post more revision class. You are a born teacher.
Ian Felix Hiya Ian- thanks loads!!!
Thank you for your kind comment. I really am delighted to be help. Thanks for spreading the word with your friends. The questions i choose in these revision sets are a bit harder than the actual core 4 exam so don't forget after all this revision to practise actual past papers to timed conditions. These should be easy in comparison. I really hope you do well in summer - with the atitude you are demonstrating it appear you will. Thanks for the donation too! Best regards Mr Hegarty
8:00 has a point with positive x-axis on the left of a point with negative x-axis *hol on* anyways, although this vid is 7 yrs ago it's still saving my brain dead butt, thank you!
Hi mr hegarty, you simply have NO idea how much the fact i just stumbled across your channel means to me right now, a week before my mocks- it is currently 4:20AM. i know this video is 7 years old now (gosh) so not sure if you will reply, however my question is i understand these videos are for the old a level syllabus, how much use do you think they will realistically be to me doing the new syllabus which is notably much harder and do you have any advice on how to tackle these new exams/best prepare using your videos? thank you (also and more importantly will you be making a come back to your youtube channel? kind regards, very grateful student
I have a question regarding the vector equation of a line with two points. Does it matter if you go from (-4,3,8) to (1,2,3) or (1,2,3) to (-4,3,8) wouldn't the direction change? Would they specify a1 to a2 or a2 to a1. Only when i do both ways my equation of the line is affected by which point i go from.

Vectors was something that I was struggling on throughout the year,
Thank you so much for making it so much clearer ^-^
Gotta love that last minute revision...
Yup, me too XD
I'm just working out how to find the equation of a plane. Not as hard as I thought.
I'll be fiiiiiiine.
Good luck.

Good luck you guys
How about 7 hours
How about 4 hours

Q planes?
Niyaz Ahmed yes - as in vector equations of planes?
thankyou, its really helped me.god bless you.
Thanks bro. This is really helpful.
What about cross product that is also in A Levels? But thanks for this amazing summary !
Great video sir!
When you said half ab sin ¤, does ab refer to dot product or cross product??
Exam on 22nd june 2018 c4/c3 vectors, integration nd trig is pretty hard other than that im good
Top Trends and parametric equations 😭😭
NaturalGlory • yh lol I hate when they put that in integration like why do you even need to make integration any harder
NaturalGlory • btw this video was uploaded 5 years ago but still helpful in 2018, big thx to hegarthymaths
You are amazing sir!
Take me. I want your wisdom inside of me.
have you made any ocr videos or know where i could find them- got my exam on friday
How do I put |a||b| in a calculator, as in do I multiply them?
Thank you so much! It helps a lot!!!
'Uww I don't know'
this is amazing... thank you
Awesome channel bro love the way its easy to navigate through the playlist.
Thank you for very much!
does this aply to OCR
So helpful thank you
is this for edexcel?
yes
what a legend
Equations of planes? Normals to planes?
This is for Core 4. C4 doesn't go into detail about planes etc. You're probably thinking about FP maths.
Hamzah ocr mei spec does, it's okay! Good video anyway!
Are you sure is for core? bc it sounds like A levels
It's part of the core maths on an A-level part
9clpc8 so its not for GCSE people?
+Лёха Яцукнов No, don't learn this stuff.
+Лёха Яцукнов I think you only do this if you do further maths
this is part of core 4 of the maths a level
thank you so much :)
I'm on youtube to quickly recap my maths knowledge before starting uni after a year off.. I hope it works....
