I used to live like this song kind, my ex sometimes was away from home without money telling me to ask for money from my job or my family because he did not have a job only my income was the only support to feed my little kids. This has nothing to do with hate against men, it's just stating a sad truth. Domestic violence is more common than many think, in any society, not only Latino or Southern European. I think that you can not say all men here in Latinoamerica are like that, it would be as if I said all women in US broke the major part of homes for their "free" behaviors knowing that there are women who can have a family without advantages over men in an equal part and relationship!
