As far as writing goes, this is really good..
The stolen Kilck N Play sprites and weird sound effects and music really enhance the surreal vibe too. Such an amazing experience for so little (proportional) effort.
The original Zoombini game was fantastic, but this game's lore took it up to eleven.
So for those of you who don't get it, this is a parody of an old edutainment game called The Logical Journey of the Zoombinis. You guided a group of little ball things called Zoombinis and learned about logic along the way. It could get pretty intense, like I think on the hardest difficulty you had to make full logic tables?
Zoombinis was the shit, man. I played it for hours and loved the hell out of it, so when I saw the sneezing bridge here I fucking lost it.
Scratch-O dude if you played it on hard at the reccomended age it was fucking impossible, i remember crying and calling my dad over because i felt stupid because I selected hard (i was like, 8?)

this game is going to be something i remember forever... its like genuinely not even heavy-handed, i think? it does what its trying to do incredibly well. it sticks with you and makes you feel like you experienced *something* and you just feel kind of weird afterwards. i love this game.

Okay, Vinnie, you HAVE to play the original Logical Journey of the Zoombinis on stream. It's got quite enjoyable music and atmosphere. It's supposed to be a logic game for kids, but it can be quite enjoyable for adults, especially on higher difficulties.
I have such a nostalgia for that game since I played it on my Microsoft XP when I was 7. Holy shit would I want to see him play the ever living fuck out of the remake or the original.

I love how in stark contrast to the actual Zoombinis trilogy, where everything is meant to be in the player’s control as they figure everything out, that this game has the player’s actions fundamentally meaningless, with even the cliffs saying that they player shouldn’t read any intent as to which zambonis die as every puzzle is completely out of the player’s control with nothing making a difference, truly whittling down the player’s and the zambonis’ sprits due to every puzzle being rigged or completely randomized and unpredictable with a predetermined outcome.
They sent everything to shit except for the writing wich was pretty impresive
