The only time he's taken a "L" was from his own album, simply coming back to the fact, that his only competition, is himself.

Why would Nick Cannon try to diss Em when he can't even win his own show?
For the publicity, his show is staged and the bars are trash. That's why they need EM.
There is a video out. That has a battle rapper (forgot the name) breaking down their "grand plan." with the Em beef. Long story short they wanted to use EM to push their names, to bring more money and fame to them all. They didn't care of winning against Em they wanted fame, and that is all. Any, and all publicity is good publicity.

Eminem's Hail Mary was a good diss track, but so was Go to Sleep during that era. Quite brutal.
For me, the top 5 Em disses are:
1. Quitter
2. Hailie's Revenge
3. Bully
4. The Warning

@@nobilior3217 I mean, people always talk about Hit 'Em Up is the "greatest diss of all time", but Quitter was always better to me. Pac and Outlawz were going at multiple people but only had a few lines about each of them other than Biggie, and then the last 2 minutes was him talking over the beat rather than rapping. Just the 1st half of Quitter is enough, with one of the best hooks Em has, along with telling everyone the truth about the beef while threatening Everlast and disrespecting him, then the 2nd half is a flow for flow and sometimes bar for bar match of Hit 'Em Up but with D12 just trashing him and talking about how they're going to murder him. It's the 1st beef where someone mentioned Hailie, and it's just relentless. One of the people involved did an interview once where they said that Em wrote 6 verses before the final cut 😳

I think its was good that Em called his parents out. He may have gone overboard with the specific things he brought up, but the wake up call to his parents likely helped set the stage for all parties to come to an better understanding at a later date.

ICP has a super loyal fan base and werent hurt at all by Eminem...the actually sold more records during their beef...it started in 1997, Em dissed them on the Marshall Mathers LP that released in 2000 and ICP's next record after that sold 500,000 copies which was their 3rd highest selling album
