Found a Dyno on a dirt lot about 20 years ago. Frame and a bent chain ring on a crank they probably didn’t see any use in stripping the crank off. I dumped $1500 into it with everything new. Orange skyways , 3 piece cranks, gyro on down…. Only problem I have is I cannot identify which model frame it is. The connection between the head tube and the down tube has a plate originally welded to the bike as support between the head tube the seat tub and the down tube. I can’t see it in any of the photos of these bikes. It’s definitely a dyno considering the stamps on the dropouts.
It’s a slow process. Each video takes about a week of evenings to finish. I’m knackered after finishing one. Definitely want to get back to doing more videos. Cheers
I'm 46 and my gen will yell you that the bikes back then were the best! I wish I had the bikes I had I'd be rich! My favorite was my haro master....maybe my hutch😂
Lots of things. They were very different bikes with different design and generally lower price point to GT. In the 90’s they were made in different factories.
Those bikes look so much better than bmx's of today
Sure do. There was actual creativity involved in trying to be different. Today it’s all about being the same.
And I am positiv that is the reason the sport does not hype anymore....we were after the bikes beauty....after that we startet with tricks
100% agree
Facts

That's all I would ride back in the day!! I had a true obsession with Dyno!! Still have a Compe to this day. Beautiful bikes!!

Send a few pics to the GT Dyno groups on Facebook. They’ll help you identify it.
Make other videos of each catalog. Especially 1990 Dyno

@@re-ridesthis video was dope. I owned a 1992 & 93' Compe. Those bikes were game changers. It was like having a GT Performer for hundreds less
I have a 1989 Vfr it's the best!
Nice. I’ll be doing a video on late 80s Dyno soon.
The team 91 slammer was 419 retail on team model I did my black team up this year

So much better BITD.
I had the DYNO VFR. Come to think of it, I don't remember what happened to it. Probably got stolen 😢
Had a few bikes taken over the years.
Was Dyno made by GT BMX?
Yep they were.
Being born in 84 I double take a mid school dyno gt more than i do any car
Amazing. Thanks for watching.
I have one of those bolt on GT bashguards in very good condition, I would sell it for 150eur .
I’m sure you’d get that no problem
What was the difference between dyno and gt ....

owned a DYNO.
Which model?

Thank you?
Downvoted for terrible AI voice-over
I give Hank the feedback.
That's not a AI voice. It's my buddy Steve
These bikes were from 150-450 new when they came out now u nerds have em waaaay overpriced
You could find one for that 10 years ago. Add an extra zero now.
Ive stolen the
Gt, Performer, & Compe
& you know what. Stolen bikes ride.faster.
I’m sure they do.
