For example, if given a choice, people who mostly seek Government jobs do it for stability and to afford an uncontaminated personal/social life. Whereas, private job seekers do it for their profile growth, sacrificing their personal/social life by socializing with emotionally detached colleagues and self-denying booze buddies every weekend. So your job indeed can give us a generic idea about what you might prioritize in life. And if prioritizing stability and personal wellbeing is equal to being "boring", then we love "being" boring rather than being a non-reflective corporate wage slave.
