I love her live content where she freely speaks in English and us international folks can enjoy in real time without waiting for subs 🙏 not all idols do it even among the fluent speakers. Yunjin, Lily, Danielle, are a few that do Eng lives sometimes 💕
i know that ways of seeing is an incredibly popular book, but yunjin recommending it adds so much to my admiration towards her. i wonder how reading it affected her insights on the kpop industry, especially the bit about the male gaze.
@@brianlittrell797 i would love to learn about this "female gaze" that is a systemic equivalent to what john berger defines as the male gaze in ways of seeing. the book has been thoroughly criticized for all 52 years of its existence and i have yet to come across any reviews of it that has described his analysis as "men bad, women good" or proposed a female equivalent to what he defined as the male gaze, i would genuinely love to hear your case for these two arguments. surely you have actually read the book that i am directly referring to in my comment and aren't just being an argumentative imbecile, right?
@@brianlittrell797 if you did have an actual example to give of a specific industry/social group/culture where the subject/object roles of the theoretical concept of the male gaze gets reversed so women see themselves as subjects and men as objects, you can just name it, i won't argue it since you can't explain yourself. this is something that i've been pondering on recently esp. about fandoms, but all of the examples that i have come up don't really hold water when inspected closely. i consider it to be impossible for the female gaze to exist since we don't have industries nor essential social relations that require women seeing themselves as subjects and men as objects, and i haven't come across a culture with female/male socialisation that would produce those dynamics.
@@blirpoblarpo I find everything you've said in your comments interesting. And your choice of picture profile is interesting too. A puppy with angel wings and a halo. It’s actually really unlikely that there aren’t aliens. Space is bigger than anyone can comprehend so it would be very odd if our planet is the only one with life on it.

Her lips so attractive 💋
"The ways of seeing" was interesting
Everybody dreams. It's just that not everybody remembers their dream; that is a skill that has to be developped, mostly.
I mean sometimes people don’t dream because of brain damage. But people who haven’t suffered severe head trauma, do indeed dream.
Wait what? I don't dream like fr. I just sleep and wake up. I haven't dreamed in like a year
