It's pretty much done now just waiting on a poster design. I want to keep it as open as possible since I don't like clutter. I did just add my lifx lights to the room though
Congrats on the new house. Quik question....do you prefer overhead presses with the bands, over the dumbbells? I think I've seen you using the bands for standing chest press, but here you use dumbbells as well. Guessing you like to switch things up. Thanks as always for sharing. We really appreciate you.
Thanks! I actually just used dumbbells for the first time in about 3 months. I've been using the resistance bands and bar during that time for testing and I enjoy it a lot. I may start adding in dumbbells and bodyweight (and plan to make a hybrid plan on the GamerBody website) but the bands have really made the workouts more enjoyable, at least for me.
@@GamerBody buying that 1st house is so very scary. My wife & I had several panic attacks during the process. It's like "boom" you get hit with real adult shit LOL ! Things are getting REAL now
@@GamerBody good for you guys. Here in Miami home prices have been crazy for years. We bought our 1st in 1984, a 3 bdr, 2 1/2 bath, and a nice pool for $92k....I had so many sleepless nights worrying about if I lose my job, how will we pay for it, etc
Congrats on the new home! You are one of the few home gym owners that don't fit in the "garage gym" or the "basement gym" category lol. Looking forward to see how you adjust your set-up in the new space. Are you planning on getting heavier adjustable DBs, like the Nuobells?
@@GamerBodySame here: I am using my cheap spinlock DBs less and less. Got annoyed by how slow weight change is (especially on insolation movements/drop sets) and the metal splinters lol. Almost all my lifts are on the barbell or bands. Finally, I got few hex DBs. You could try adding bands to your dumbbells. To see how it feels :).
@@GamerBody I went in some 15's, 20's and 30's just for isolation work. I like how I can get a few sets quickly and do drop sets. I might expand my collection. Also, when I'll finish my strength program, I would like to experiment with dumbbells + bands. I did it for my barbell movements and really enjoyed (great for bodybuilding and for strength training). I am curious to try it for bodybuilding dumbbell movements (e.g. DB lateral raise with the addition of the band, drop set by changing the band or remove it).
I could see band drop sets being a pain as it will take some time, but otherwise it should work. Right now I'm testing some HIT principles so no drop sets needed ;)
UnderSun. While they are a bit more expensive, they a re better for workouts where the SunPow are better for assistance. You can use both, bit I found UnderSun to be a bit better for performing exercises.
Hmm you will have to test it. It will make them tighter so you might find the heavy bands to be very difficult. If you got it off Amazon, run some tests early on for all the exercises just to make sure and if you can't so some, return it and try a different one.
Congratulations on the new home!! I can't wait to see what you'll do with your office space! 🎉🎉

Yeah it was crazy especially in the Austin area market. No panic attacks but so far things have worked out for us :)

Yeah that's always in the back of my mind. Doing my best to get some security money back after all the closing costs.
Congrats on buying your place!
Thanks!

Great video bro!

Maybe, I've actually really gravitated towards the loop bands and bar. I did take out the dumbbells the other day though so we will see.

How do you like the hex dumbbells? Which ones did you go with?

Thank you!
Very Nice Sir!
Thanks!
nice home gym, small but nice
Thanks, my goal is to keep it small and focus on only what I need :)
will u do a giveaway for that bike? I am in need of exercise bike
Maybe. Still going to keep it for now but if so I will let the channel know :)
Where did you buy the resistens band and the equipment used with it?
Take a look at the video ua-cam.com/video/xyePwOQeRkw/v-deo.html
All of the items are in the description. Let me know if you have any questions.
@@GamerBody would you choose Sunpow or Undersun bands? Thanks a lot for your fast answer!! 😊

Didn't know you are married. Congrats to you!
Thanks!
What is the name of the bike?
It's the RENPHO AI bike. There is a link to a review I did in the description.
Get a power rack
No. Keeping my office gym as free from massive amounts of equipment as possible. I'm content with my results without ever needing one.
