I loved this series. I’m currently almost halfway through book 4 and i don’t want it to finish. I describe it to my friends as a hunger games meets divergent meets shadow and bone lol
I just finished glass sword, and I honestly don’t think it deserves the bad rap. I hear everyone saying that you just need to get through it to get to the end of the series, but absolutely LOVED it!!! Be prepared to cry though I bawled for a good half hour at the end. I would definitely recommend reading the rest of the series and I can’t wait to read kings cage😁
The ending of glass sword had me SOBBING. *spoilers* SHE SACRIFIECED HERSELF FOR EVERYONE! AND THEN WE ALL KNOW FARLEYS SITUATION, AND THEN SHADE DIED NO- *spoilers for absolute END of kings cage* AND THEN CAL JUST CHOOSES THE THRONE OVER MARE 😭 😭 WHYYYYYY
I dont have this on my tbr, but I appreciate the review. It does sound like a good book and I especially find the reds and silvers interesting. Great video.
It's one of my favourite books (and series of books)! I've read it over and over again, and without any spoilers romance takes a bigger place in the following books (and yes I was disappointed by the second and the third one, but for me the fourth one made it up for it) Have a nice day :)
I read the first book and thought it was okay but not incredible. I started the second and literally couldn’t finish it. It was all over the place it’s so confusing and so many things happened at the same time. Maybe should I pick it up again ?
i just finished the 3rd one and thought it was underwhelming, not a lot of character development , maybe ill give the 4th a go again, hopefully they do cal justice
@@tommytommy7535mare disappointed me the most. Hundreds of pages of supposed build-up only for her to get rescued by someone else. Absolutely no pay-off and I found myself wishing someone just killed her or she herself for that matter. Absolutely pathetic, worthless and woefully uninspiring. I even got more angry as the new character with exact same powers showed up whisking away any twinge of uniqueness she may have had.
another thing is that they have an arena and also their main city is refered to as "the capital" the amount of times i said "ladies and gentelmen let the 76th hunger games begin" or "may the odds be ever in your favour" through-ought this book was way to many to count 😂

@@nikkisbooknook You’re welcome so much! I think I still will… I was watching your shadowhunter reviews and wondering, have you seen the Shadowhunters show? It’s based on the books and isn’t too shabby.

This was my first feries in this book world and ik that this is controversial but I really like the complete series (we do not talk about glass sword so much).
