It Takes A Village - Ep 1

Rex and Miriam are expecting their third child on a perfectly normal day in their PNG village. The delivery goes well, but Miriam suffers birth complications and becomes critically ill. Rex must make the long and dangerous trip around the bay to get Miriam the emergency help she needs.

Its in a remote area and very often health facilities run out of medicines. Some don't even have panadol or antibiotics. Its sad, and mothers like Miriam suffer. Many mothers make it to the health facility and don't get appropriate care in a timely fashion and they die. This is a true story
