The ninth month translated literally was November. Originally there were only 10 months, ending with December (the tenth), July and August were added by (I believe) Julius Cesar and are named after him and another Roman emperor, Augustus. I think it was because the year was too short and the seasons were shifting, to counter that they added enough days to make the year 365 and 1/4 days.
These trivial pursuit videos are my absolute favourite of yours! I always come back to them multiple times to make sure I catch everything I fall asleep through 😂 Thanks for everything you do!
Hi Linda, those Trivial Pursuit videos are always a great way of improving one's general knowledge. I was happy to hear you mentioning my place of residence and found it funny that you assumed we have a train station called Austerlitz as Germany didn't even participate in this battle, let alone win it. Napoleon still had his winning streak at this point. But it didn't last much longer. That's why Waterloo is the name of a train station in London.
Loved this video! Ive never had a black velvet but Im interested to try one. I worked at a bar years ago that served pints that were half porter beer and half hard dry apple cider, it was rich and velvety yet crispy fresh, super yummy.

Interesting. What was the half cider / half porter called? I think I’d name it “dark days” - like the longer, darker fall/winter days. 🤔
@@Nofrillsasmr That name would work! We called it the Black Sabbath haha, all the drinks were metal band references
This looks like the first edition so definitely from the 1980s. I grew up playing this edition with my family.
You have a voice perfect for making announcements at Disneyland/world
Take some photos of the bridge for us to see please
Eugene McCarthy was a different senator than Joseph McCarthy of “McCarthyism.” In many ways, they were on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
@@mikedeaven oh, ok. Is there a reason they asked the question? He must have done something memorable in the 80s. Thanks for your comment!
