Hi, may I ask your help to know how to compute a categorical variable with three levels (eg. High, Mid, Low) with another continuous variable (eg. test's scores)? Thanks
Hello, I have a question. Why in this exercise where there are categorical variables (dichotomous) in one side and one continuous variable in the other is not used Spearman Rho, when it is said that in one variable is not continuous, Pearson is not appropriate but Spearman Pho?
Is the outcome variable is a composite variable (sum of the answers of questions) or it is a score came from other place in the questionnaire or test.
I was wondering, you can not check if a binary variable has a linear relationship. Then how are you allowed to do a biviriate correlation analysis?

Just run a one way ANOVA.
how do factor analysis with it

Spearman Rho is used if you are comparing ordinal data to interval/ratio data.
