What I do to keep my shoes fresh.
1.Add a little frebreeze on the inside
2.Add foot powder
3.Put dryer sheets inside the shoes
4.Put in a plastic bag over night

Febreze, lysol, and pretty much everything like that has toxic chemicals. And since your feet have more sweat glands than any other place on your body, we also soak up the toxic chemicals more easily also through the feet.

Here’s a few more💡 ideas: Mix white vinegar & water in an empty spray bottle and spray some inside of the shoes. You can also use essential oils (tea tree oil, lavender oil etc) and water in spray bottle (shake it well) and spray some inside of the shoe. You can place the shoes in a plastic bag or container and place in the freezer for 12-36 hours to eliminate bacteria. Baking soda is awesome and works great too.

Only shoes I've had that stank so bad I had to stop wearing were some low blue Nikes. Outside was leather so they looked OK but some synthetic material inside started stinking so bad with slightest contact with any moisture. And nothing helped, not washing, no chemicals. Put me off Nikes for a long time

None of the advice given in this video works. However, here is something that will work and costs next-to-nothing:
1. Remove insoles and wash the shoes and insoles in a washing machine. Air-dry them thoroughly.
2. Saturate the shoes and insoles with white vinegar and air-dry them thoroughly.
This treatment will odor-proof the shoes for many months, perhaps up to a year. If they get smelly again, repeat the above steps. The reason that it works is the vinegar (a weak acid) changes the pH inside the shoes to a range that odor-causing bacteria and fungi cannot tolerate. Lack of bacteria growth means no odor. If the shoes are brand new, give them the vinegar treatment before wearing them the first time.

Tea bags are great so you let them air out with some 1 tea bag in each shoe and shabang they be smelling good again

Every other pair of shoes never give me a problem, but there's 1 shoe that gives me a horrible stupid oder that smells through the shoe while I'm wearing them and I become self conscious that everyone in the room can smell it. It's so stupid. Besides throwing them away how can I stop a certain pair of specific shoes from smelling???
+teddy thodo always cycle through shoes. Dont wear the same pair over and over and over. Also always let them air dry after use. If theyve been used a lot and the odor is stuck try washing them. But again always air dry. (Ps, most shoes can be washes but some shoes have fragile materials and should never be washed)

dry your feet when you get out the shower don't wear the same sock twice without washing.....you should be good...wearing already stinking shoes and putting on another pair is risky the smell will carry over to your socks then the socks will transfer the smell to the next pair.....discretion is advised

This video is on how to prevent your shoes from smelling bad. Its all about maintenance. But when the shoes smell bad to start off you cant just try to mask it with febreeze. That wont do anything. What you need to do is clean the dirt and odor out first. It needs to be cleaned out properly. Then you can use febreeze and what not after to maintain the nice smell
