- Roopkund, perhaps the most popular trek in India, is almost picture-perfect. The Roopkund trail climbs out of splendid dark forests suddenly bursting into Ali and Bedni Bugyal, arguably India’s most beautiful high altitude meadows. Out of the meadows, the trail quickly gets into terrific alpine stretches.
Ronti Saddle Trek - a saddle between the Himalayan peaks of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul. The trek offers grand views of Nanda Ghungti(6309 mtr), Trisul I (7120 mtr), II (6690 mtr), III (6007 mtr) mountauns.
The Route of Ronti Saddle Trek passes through the trail of roopkund. Roopkund, comes on the fourth day of this trek. The trek further continues via Ronti Saddle & Channia ghat to end in Sithail. One will experience the best bugyals or meadows of Bedni and Ali. the seren view of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul
Climbing on snow to the Roopkund lake is a heart-pounding thrill. The beautiful Mt Trishul looms over the setting getting closer as you climb higher when at a ridge above Roopkund, only air separates the trekker from them and Trishul.
Roopkund Trekking trail is famous for the celebration of the Nanda Devi Raj Jat, takes place once every twelve years at Roopkund.
During which Goddess Nanda Devi is worshipped. The famous Nanda Devi lies near to the lake. Similarly, one can spot the snow leopards, Himalayan black bear, Chi pheasants and notice the myriads flower all along the trek.
The Roopkund lake, said to have more than 300 skeletons of a king and his villagers. They were struck by a blizzard, when they were travelling to Nanda Devi.
while going to Roopkund Trek, one can visit Bedni Bugiyal and Ali Bugiyal.

Best time to visit sept ar oct h. Himlayan peaks dikhti h ar roopkund tak trail bani hui rehti h. Winter wear, good shoes, polarized glasses( for snow), trekking bag , trekking stick, head band.

Apna tent carry karna chahiye ? ya campsite pe jo forest waalo ko green shed mein ruk sakte hai ? Koi pre-booking ya forest permission ki zarurat hogi forest sheds mein rukne k liye ?

Forest wale green shed..first come first serve basis pr rehte h...sept me rush hota h..isliye it is better you carry your own tent. Forest permission at tha spot le skte ho...either lohajung se ya wan village se ( sabka adhar card chahiye hoga). Agar sirf Roopkund tak jare ho, toh guide mandatory nhi h but agar ronti jare ho toh...me suggest karunga guide lekar Jana....route bht change hua h.

Nope. Dont go this trek without prior experience. Its difficult. 12k trek cost approx

It varies from 16k to 20 k for ronti saddle trek.
Hello bro trek one day m complete ho skta hai for one side ?
Bht difficult h...23 km in one day. And most importantly late evening me views bhi nhi milenge.

Yes, bina guide ke roopkund trek possible h. Rehne ke liye bhagwabasa tak sheds bnaye hue h forest walo ne....but wo first come first serve basis pr h and khud ka sleeping bag chahiye hoga. Food wan village tak available hoga. After that you need to carry your own food.
