Thank you for the support! I am quite happy with the initial prototype, even though the lens I used I knew doesn't cover the 6x17 ( hence vignetting). I am now waiting for the 70mm mount for my Grandagon N lens which hopefully will have full coverage! Will make a part 2 video once I get the new mount and test it out :)
That's a great idea! Specially since the lens i used, has very short flange distance, so on a 35mm it would fit perfectly! I will try to finalize this camera in next week or so and mock up a prototype for a 35mm XPan !
That was exactly my thinking, I looked at rhe gx617 and wonder.. can I make one instead.. Still work in progress, should be getting my 2nd version of the prototype this week 😁
@@threeamigoshk super excited to follow along. I love tinkering like this. Im thinking of trying to do sprocket panos in a 4x5 cam. Maybe even try and chop up some 120 and shove it in the holder lol

Definitely, feel free to do so! Yes it does support different lenses, you will need to adjust the lens holder according to the flange distance of the lens you want to use.

That sounds very interesting! I previously modified a Horseman 6x7 before to mount on a 4x5. For those days that I can't pack many film holders haha
