Guide for new to Stalker series wanting to start the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience recommended games are all three vanilla games from 2007 - Shadow of Chernobyl, 2008 - Clear Skies, 2009 - Call of Pripyat or vanilla games + mods modernizing the gameplay which you can find in detailed description below.
Here is list of the best repacks/modpacks for original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games/standalones.
Each option is separate, pick one option from below:
IMPORTANT: if you see - Repack - means game is all in one packed in parts for your convinience, you just need to download all the parts, place them all in new folder and start unpacking from part1 with Winrar 6.0+ 64bit or 7zip latest.

2. Anomaly EFP 3.0 (Escape from Pripyat) - Repack - Currently the most advanced, realistic, hardcore modpack for Anomaly and all stalker things in general, with improved graphics and gameplay mechanics, peak of stalker modding evolution in other words.
Small installation instruction is inside. Its about 90gb after unpack it has everything you need for best Stalker Anomaly experience, including all best visual mods as well like HD summer pack, Dead Zone and Winter mod + Reshades.

Not gonna lie, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly with these addons raised the bar quite high for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, i mean its literaly the best S.T.A.L.K.E.R. you can get now, and for free
I have anomaly downloaded but I don’t know why mine doesn’t look like the video nor do I know how to update my game 😭 what addons have been added to raise the bar? I’m just getting into the stalker series.

I wish the Escape from Pripyat mod wasn't such a chore to install. It requires using a mod manager then downloading a bunch of separate things and then separate updates for those things. The Provak pack is just a gamedata folder with the whole mod in it.
Yeah but Provak is also unstable as fuck and completely inaccessible if you want to change parts of it.

We can't do much against the wishes of the modders. 2.5U will like 4K said, be a lot easier to install.
For real. Provak is pretty unstable, but I honesty can’t be asked to install all the shit for EfP. The discord is a jumbled mess, the community is toxic and unhelpful (in my experience) and there’s too many downloads. Just pack it into a folder.
Question does this mod also includes some major weapon addition mods as well ? like sharpsticks and boomsticks or taz 3.0

But they have sort of urban camo more than a winter
@@user-qi2gq6ef3w it might be called "urban", but the pattern is still predominantly white which would provide at least some camouflage against white backgrounds like snow. It would certainly do better in white snow than it does in the browns and greens of the zone lol

No it will be semi repack, only you will need to download mods from modders who don't want to share their mods in EFP, like groks stuff

how do you get this much fps? before i had the same fps like you but now it decreased by so much (around 30 fps and it drops from 75 whenever i start as monolith)
btw i get more fps when i spawn as loner (ive tried lowering the stalker and mutant population count but that doesnt work either)
I dont. Just lower populations and grass settings if it becomes rough

Can someone help me out please? There are so many mods that I'm really confused, and I don't want to break my game. I'm looking for addons for anomaly mod that will make it more realistic with lot more weapons and better ai (not sniper aim). Is there a pack containing these? I don't need to make graphics better I love it anyway, just things I mentioned.

Anomaly + realism = EFP 2.5. Stay tuned should be released soon
Theres many addons you can choose and customize for realism. Look on the ModDB Anomaly addon page (www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons)
For guns there's "Boomsticks and Sharpsticks" (BAS, B&S), and some others.
For AI theres "ALife Overhaul" and probably some others too.
When installing follow what the addon description or instructions say and make sure the addons are compatible.
Also make backups like your gamedata and appdata(savegames and screenshots). If needed make backups of other folders

Honestly I started learning 2 days ago, and just started understanding addons/modding. So be careful, go slow, make sure you're following and understanding, and even ask questions or search around for help.

@@user-ql4cc4yy9u it looks like player's callouts when he sees an enemy, problem is he doesn't see one lol (I used this mod alone on CoC but then player would yell only after hitting an enemy; so you had to actually see the enemy and not get warned by your character that the danger is nearby)

Yep, there are many Tarkov-themed mods in the pack. But you can easily disable them with one click or replace them if you want a different feel.

the weird thing in EFP is this: the magazines icons in inventory is more big than the rifles :-/
Not weird at all, since its intended to be like this, especially that modders did terrific job on the icons you can now distinguish which mag is for which gun instead of small pixelated icon, just like in Tarkov UI

I wish all gun animations were redone, that’s the only thing I want from this game
Couple of guys are working on animations but they are few and there is too much stuff to cover so they focus on actor animations. Many guns are simply just bad designed from the start like G36 or AUG not worth the effort.
IKR man i am so glad i am not the only one. Wish there were animations like gunslinger and +1 in chamber thing

I play on a non gaming Laptop. Everything on maximum and it runs on 60fps all the time. The downside is, I have to play in with DirectX 8 but as long as I can have all settings topped out, Im cool with that.
Try out a lower Dx version if you have fps trouble. For me it runs with somewhat between 10-20 fps on Dx 10-11 and, as I said, on 60fps on Dx 8
Edit/PS: Oh, and disable all shader mods. It makes one hell of a difference when it comes to performance.

@@moonshine6304 Pretty sure, yes. Just keep your Dx on 8 and fiddle with the grass density. When you download EFP they advice you on the instruction page how to adjust A-Life so it wont eat all your ram. But dont worry, it should work)

anomaly has very likely ruined stalker 2 for me. I really doubt it'll be as good
I think it will be a great experience, modern graphics and game play. EFP is adding many FPS elements that were missing in stalker 1, but i genuinly belive stalker 2 will be amazing, with mod support as well in another few years time we'll have something like EFP there too
