The Wookie - a ridiculous backyard short film

Here's a totally ridiculous fun backyard movie I helped our church youth group make. We had 2 hours, no plan, and a lot of fun. I haven't shot something like this in a long time so it was fun exercise those muscles again and to play with my Blazar Remus Anamorphic lenses. I shot handheld on my Sony FX3 with no external monitor so half the shots are out of focus. Sound was just a shotgun mic on the camera, and for lighting I had two Godox 60 watt lights literally just to make gratuitous flares. We used a little canned haze for fun too. I had a good time and I would do 100 things differently if we shot it again, but that's what happens when you haven't shot a short film in over 10 years :-D
