While they do have the disclaimer about the animation, they have been pretty consistent between the trailers and the final product in the past (at least from what I can tell). I do wonder if they ever get tired of re-animating the main U.C. Gundams and Mazinger. At least they finally let Macross Fronteir and Seed Destiny take a bench after so much constant exposure (and Gundam 00 before it joined their club)......though the old fallback of Endless Waltz is back. HI-Nu Gundam (and the original Mazenkaiser) is back!!!! I do wonder how they will incorporate all three Mazinger stories. I am disappointed at the lack of Getter in this game. While we've had enough Armagedon by now, they seem to have forgotten both Neo and New Getter Robos exist......and both haven't been used in more than a decade.
Usually Getter absence is restricted to handhelds though, so a console release without Getter is new (or at least very few). Why not put one in here and another in the next? Unless it's got story this time, we can probably do without Diatarn 3 and have a Getter slip right in.
Cross ange, while terrible (But still fun to watch), got its characters and story better handled in SRW V. Wonder if the one here will get that treatment as well. I enjoyed Ange's interactions with the Gundam pilots in that one.
Reconguista in G would have been hilarious together with Turn A Gundam.
