I'm glad you liked that, I was super proud of the double stagger! Usually it's not that clean even when I try to line them up. If you couldn't sleep Titan R2 would be terrible for her no damage. It's also the most inconsistent for me otherwise. Round 4 Gilgamesh has so many moves it's a wonder what he will do sometimes and I have a really hard time dodging brutal swing other than using ward shift, but even that you have to be quick.

I call this challenge “Hoarders of the Outerworlds” because I can see Phoenix hoarding sticks, hay, etc to build its nest; I can see Titan hoarding a bunch of boulders, rocks to throw; I can obviously see Gilgamesh hoarding swords; and I can see Virtual Sephiroth hoarding materia.
Sephiroth plunging from above Aerith to kill her in the Temple of Ancients : Hehe. Aerith teleporting to her Ley Lines at the last second and starting to cast one thousand Thundaga : Nothing personnal, Kid.
It took me months and about 200 times just to get through this. Round 4 would destroy me every time. But when I finally got to sephiroth, oddly enough I beat him the very first time. He didn't have a chance to do anything. I was in such shock when i finished it i saved the game 9 times. Lol! Just to be sure. 😅
The first time I got to VR Sephiroth with 3 people I got shadow chained 3 times into Octoslash and sent right back to the beginning 😅. Incredible that you got him first try! Now though I really like how he is one of the most consistent fights in terms of moveset. The other fights have more variance, but Sephiroth you mostly know what to expect even though in this run it also didn't go exactly as planned.
@Azumgi9 it was crazy, I knew about the binding attacks, but he just didn't do that. He got a couple hits in but i was able to get a routine down and beat him. I used cloud, aerith and yuffie. I never want to do that again. Lol! Are you struggling with the challenges?
Beautiful kill on Phoenix. The titan and bahamut fight was insane I didn’t even know you could sleep titan and the way you lined them up at the end was perfect. 3:31 the perfect block on both Alex and odin was glorious. 6:00 and I’ve never seen the fleeting familier doing rapid attacks like this before 😮 is it because you were casting a magic spell?
Thanks! Not 100% sure how it works, but yes fleeting familiar via tempest + magic causes them to rush out. I also think a lot come out when you do level 2 transcendence. They are helpful because they do decent pressure/ damage.

Radiant -> Transcendence -> Arcane (skill master) -> Faith -> Spell -> A different Spell (skill master again) Usually You can just do Thundaga -> Stagger -> Transcendence to kill, but I didn't get immediate Furor this time. Also if you get the purple chain debuff where he reprisals every action swiftcast Thundaga will miss entirely during his s (too fast), but Aeroga won't because of the delay.

It makes sense in your previous video where you had the purple debuff but you didn't here. Because, well, it's a no damage run and you didn't get hit lol. Thanks for the explanation though☺
Just so I'm understanding all of this, you used a combination of faith & transcendence (2 ATB bars) with radiant and arcane wards? And with the genji gloves your swift/double cast of -aga spells just melts the bosses healthbars?
@@FFwRevelations Yes, it took quite a bit of time and I'm still not 100% especially on Gilgamesh or when the 2 enemy fights overlap their attacks. Lots of losses.
If you mean the leftmost circle on her status bar that fills ups, it's from transcendence Aerith's late game ability. It charges over time and once level two you can release it to deal damage. When stored and not used it increases her magic damage.
@@xeno5722 You basically want to maximize Aerith's Magic Attack (always use the magic up materia) and then use Faith + Transcendence (it's the highest when it says level 2 in the UI). Most of her weapons also have a 10% multiplier for specific elements. Other good mulitpliers not used in this video are using the magic focus materia (25%) + an element like fire or ice and mp absorption + an element like fire or ice to keep her mp at max for full power magic (10%). Genji Gloves accessory allows her to break the damage limit.
FF Rebirth added perfect guard so if you guard at the right time you take no damage and are immune to status effects from most attacks. Precision Defense Materia gives more time to block for no damage and also allows you to block unblockable attacks that grab or bind the character. Aerith also takes 0 damage (but can still be inflicted with status effects, knockback etc.) when casting a spell inside the Radiant Ward circle.
If the red warning is an attack that bind the character or grabs them and you have max level Precision Defense Focus materia you can block it with the right timing. Some examples of bind are Bahamut's "Crushing Grip", Gilgamesh's "Gilgamesh Pose", and Sephiroth's "Skewer".
Hard mode I'm pretty sure she can clear every fight she's available for. Normal probably, but you don't start with the toad equipment or hp mp swap to lower party member's hp, so it might be a little tricky.
Love that skill that makes her immune to damage while she's casting magic. Comes in clutch.
It's awesome! The tier 3 spells take so long without swiftcast and she would be a sitting duck otherwise. If only there was a swiftcast all materia

That was insane! Round 2 and 4 are a total nightmare for me. The way you hit both Bahamut and Titan with one set of Thundaga+Aeroga is just wild!

Yeah, it's really strong! Either hp mp swap or magic + genji glove + mp absorption for tons of mp and the limit break building with hp mp swap.

Pretty much! And Skill Master + ATB Stagger + Precision Defense + Steadfast Block to help with ATB gain since Aerith is kind of slow at it.
