I rode for miles and miles when I was younger. The worst fall I ever had was when I was flying down a steep hill and out of the tall weeds, a coyote ran across right in front of me. The accident was over before my brain recognized, oh, an animal. The coyote yelped, then ran away. I really didn't see it; just had the impression of an animal with fur. Poor thing. I, however, was a bloody mess. My arms, legs, ribs, face, etc. I had hit the side of my face on a rock cliff face; my mother just about had a heart attack when I came walking home. Those were fun days though! Good luck!
Best of luck to you & everybody on the bike ride. Snowdonia National Park is one of my most favourite places so you’ll definitely be surrounded by a lot of beautiful scenery.
