There was a small patch of mud on the asphalt, his tire slid in it. I went back and investigated the scene of the accident. 😂 Hey now both of our wipeouts are on film.
Tell me about it!!!!! Learn from my mistakes, and do what I did...just laugh it off. I was livid mad at first, but that's the perfectionist coming out in me that I need to keep working on. Probably get out tomorrow with my fam and do a big ride. Get the MX..hopefully me hounding Altis and Voro like I have will get Altis to start pushing out spare parts.
@Shaverdan I'm looking forward to more videos, i plan on doing some trail riding but there have been zero videos of anyone doing that just a bunch of little kids trying to do willie's at fifty miles an hour looking crazy
I love how I can feel the disappointment right after it happened. One of the biggest reasons to crash after whisky throttling a new ebike is changing terrian. Going from street to dirt, dirt to mud, suddenly changing the grippiness. Sorry about your fender, but also they should make them last more than one hit.
This why a 41 year old dad and husband SHOULD ABSOLUTELY be riding! So he can stay agile and be able to get up without cussing and throwing a body part outta whack!
ok ok ok, you got me at the Homer Simpson "Umgh" right before you did a tuck and roll on the street in your subdivision. Not going to lie if I were your neighbor I would have been on the floor rolling. for that I did like & subscribe. you better put out more content now. 😲 Do you plan on riding this in the street or dirt? I guess an MX would not have helped the situation with the front tire. for what its worth I would have done that going down the driveway. Lesson learned.
@@phillipjonesiii you da man! Yea man, I’m surprised I didn’t have to beep out a bunch of cuss words! Yea, we’ll be on pavement more than dirt. Soon as I get to it, all our bikes are getting shinko dual sports.
Oh no! What happened, my man? I've heard a few people say their new tires are very slippery. Three people tried the same Altis and said they all almost ate shyt while turning into a corner. All due to the tires.Because of this, I go around corners like a grandma just until I get my new shinkos on mine.
I’ve heard new tires usually are super slippery and what I’ve done is do a burnout just to get that slippery layer off but don’t know if that will work with the altis tires
@@edgurash834 the fronts! They’re slick AF! All the more reason for a set of dual sports. Minds made up now. Yea, it got me for sure. I’m gonna have to stay in the dirt or put streets on.
@Shaverdan dang that is a bummer, yeah they're tires are usually slick on the street and depending if they're filled up really full out of the factory too! I'm planning on riding my MX on the street for sure a bit but I'm going to have to wait till they break in by the looks of this lol
CST tires are just kinda ass. And they come on most new bikes from the factory. Should be one of the first upgrades when buying any emoto is getting new tires
Not sure, I've never sat on a Surron or laid eyes on one in real life. I did order a rear tail off amazon, the bolt up looked similar. Once it gets here, I'll try and put it on, film, and post up. We shall see!
You nailed it homeboy! Exactly what happened. Oh, and new tires made for dirt, not pavement. It's my own fault. I'm so used to being on crotch rockets.
@@MCVAMP666 I dunno much about those others. So I can’t tell you what to do. What I can tell you is that I like probably most everyone else that bought this did it on the hype, marketing, and promotional campaigns that went up on these.
If they made a 72v XXX, it would be the way to go. Mine is super fast on single track, not a horse power game out there. 21/16 wheel set, brakes and Manitou forks really help. Would be crazy to do a battery/ controller and motor for $5500 when you could just get a Eride SR for less money total. Then again you'd have a dope 135lb ride that is less of a heat score. Sorry to say, the Altis seems like it needs some refinement. The fenders really should'nt fall off like that. Plus, 185lbs is getting up there. Could just ride a 300 two stroke.
@@talldug7612 thank you yeah that makes sense too I'm looking for a upgrade from my stock surron purple bike I have and idk which bike to get I'm looking for something faster and good on the street too 👍👍
@@talldug7612 To add to this on the fender topic...watch the video closely...I didn't break it from the fall. I broke it off when I mounted back on the bike. I kicked it off with my leg. I was wearing MotoHauls, which limited my range of motion. That being said, I would have likely broken that tail off at some point on my own regardless of laying it down! The plastics are VERY brittle. If someone would make a polyurethane replacement mold/set...they could sell the hell out of them to Altis owners, no doubt in my mind. I foresee a lot of broken plastics in the future.
