- In this video from the 2022 Detroit Autorama, World Of Wheels, Cavalcade Of Cool held in Detroit MI, I catch up with the 1951 Studebaker Pickup "Bertha"...When the weekend was over this 1951 Studebaker Pickup won a Great 8 at the 2022 Detroit Autorama. It's covered in a deep red paint that is close to a factory Ford color...With a little change to it's shade. It's trimmed in a factory Chevrolet Corvette color that has been massaged a little...They work well together for sure!!..The all leather interior is all custom and very fitting for the build...Wheels are a personal choice and no one set will please everyone...The stock Corvette wheels they used look custom and work well with the theme of the build...Under the custom hood is the heart of a modern Corvette....And the rest of the Corvette drivetrain to put the power to the road...This custom 1951 Studebaker pickup has a ton of detail and modifications....They are all finished to a very high level...Great 8 level!!...Very cool for sure...I'm a BIG fan of this 1951 Studebaker Custom Pickup from the 2022 Detroit Autorama, World Of Wheels, Cavalcade of Cool and I am sure You will be to...Check it out!!!

Man Scottie they knocked it out of the ballpark on this truck the black paint is like glass and i really like how they did the inside of the bed all in all i like the whole truck very classy.

The 54-56 trucks with the one piece front windshield had the best looking grilles. They Dont look like the 48-53 2R trucks industrial air vent screen. Sleek trucks for their era. Ford , Chevy and Dodge look like bricks next to them..
50's Studebaker trucks a cool when modded.

Looks similar to the Fantomworks 51 Studebaker in part of the treatment. I had a 51 when I was 19 in 1985, sadly didn't know enough at the time and sold it off.
Was always baffled how the bed never matched well with the beautiful front. The use of the nose cone really makes these 51s look mean and clean

It may have been born a 51 Studebaker Truck - butt - because of body cosmetic surgeries, a new heart `plant, skeletal-muscular replacements - it no longer a Studebaker per se - it is a Frankenstudes bride!
