Just bought one. Genius behind this setup. All the features, and barrel length is perfect with the silencer craze. Couldn't believe someone made this exact layout I was looking for hunting, and performs, nailed it.
this one has an extremely vertical grip though. More than anyone would need in a hunting situation. Vertical grips are for benchrest shooters mostly. This one seems to be designed perfectly for the hunter.
In reality, we have over 2 dozen different rifle designs from Bergara, which is more than enough to fit every single shooting need. Modern men are so weak today in how they will find something to complain about, no matter what, though....
I had a chance to handle a prototype today at the DSC Convention, and it’s the rifle I’ve been looking for. I need it in 300WM like yesterday. Only thing else I’d ask for is the carbon barrel. Hey, Bergara, how can I place my order right now? I’ve got a hunt in the RSA coming up in June and this rifle needs to go with me.
@@42N8_1 Great cartridge, but I need a caliber readily available overseas, and PRCs are hard to find outside of NA. 300WM is common in places like the RSA.
I have had this rifle in 6.5 Creed for the last month and I can tell you it’s a solid shooter. The stock feels great in the hand, and the “20 barrel is perfect for the Eastern Whitetail woods. I had plans to replace the trigger with a trigger tech…or Timney Elite Hunter but after shooting it honestly there is no reason to spend the money…..it’s that good of a factory trigger. I do not think there is a better hunting rifle for the money that has all the features the Sierra offers, great job guys 🎉
I like this rifle a lot, nicely done, Bergara! I think the only improvement to the design would be to add a swappable hand grip similar to the Tikka T3x. Again, excellent overall design features. Make the grip adjustable, and i would definitely buy this, and I think many others will as well.
FINALLY, you put all the things I liked about all the other rifles and you put it into one gun. I want one in 300 win mag. I see online it says it has a 22"barrel. is that before the muzzle break or after it?
I got the Wilderness Terrain 6.5 creed 2021 model and it’s a freaking tack driver with mostly every grain weight put through the only draw back is the weight shooting off hand is not very welcoming
It's so new, it is not up on the website. I was going to look at the chamberings. If you offer it in 7 mm PRC, I think you have a hot seller on your hands.
Been looking at one of these for dedicated coyote rifle in 22-250. Should be perfect with 1:9 twist, 20" threaded barrel for suppressor. Website is conflicting. Does it come with AICS magazine or not??
@BergaraOfficial Quoting directly from your website.. M5 BOTTOM METAL The M5 bottom metal cutout allows the shooter to convert from the AICS style magazine to a more traditional streamline M5 floorplate. @@localyokel1000 Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy online. To clarify, the Sierra will come with a hinge floor plate out of the box. It does use the M5 floorplate so if you so choose to convert it to removable magazine, it is easily achievable.
One a vertical grip would have been great. Sling swivel studs and almost useless nowadays make something like the salmon river solutions hunter rail and lastly the omny brake is horrible shooting off a bipod. Delete the ports on the bottom and it will be great
@@chrisfisher3900 because most people don’t throw it in the drawer because it’s a hunting rifle. Most people will use this for hunting with upright standing shots, shooting on a stick or resting on their backpack upright.
@@kevinmartin2096 smaller barrel equal less velocity no matter how the brass is shaped. My 7 rem mag is going 3015 with a 162 in a 26 inch barrel. A 20” barrel 6.5 prc is going to perform dramatically less than a 26” barrel. Probably 150+ fps loss, same with a 7 prc. A suppressor will not decrease Windrift and reduce bullet drop, a longer barrel will. I nch per inch a barrel weighs less than a suppressor so in a hunting situation a longer barrel brings more performance/ value than a suppressor.
I’m excited that you all finally offer left hand in something other than the standard HMRs. I want one in 7 PRC
EXACTLY.
Me too!!!
I can’t wait to check one out. Being a lefty I’ve been waiting for a rifle like this to come out
Excited to finally get one left handed
Finally the perfect rifle from bergara I was looking for definitely get my hands on that one, great 10/10 👍

Left handed!!!! Finally!!! It's mine when available!!! 308 is just fine for me...
Hopefully, these start showing as available soon. I'm excited to get one left handed.
I think the squared crest is perfection. I might buy another one.
Wow I need to check this one out immediately.
Left handed that would be me !
Well done guys! 👍🇨🇦
Canada eh? This aint an air gun mr Trudeau.
Blows my mind. All these new models and you can barely find last years models
I'll be getting one asap
Great looking rifle, I like the features! I want 1 in 6.5CM, have to wait until April 2024? I do wish it had a true vertical grip though.
Just get one of the HMR rifles and you'll have that.

Should be without the brake
bergara homepages says 24inch barrel. I am also looking for the 300win model, but a lefthand.
This model comes in a variety of calibers in left-handed configurations, including .300 Win Mag.
The Sierra will have a 22" barrel in .300 Win Mag.

22".

Lastima que a Argentina no llegan todos los modelos de Bergara. Están muy buenos
Will just the stock be available so I can swap the one from my ridge carbon wilderness?
Not at this time.
Put my name down for a 7 PRC!
What is the length of pull range on the Sierra? Will it go down to 12.5"? I can't find this info anywhere.
When will this be available in ireland
How far apart are the front two sling studs?
Will this one be in 350 Legend

Absolutely no reason for that with the new magnum caliber
Many thanks for this one in .300BLK! 🙏👍👏🤝
Maybe with a shorter barrel and a 1:5 twist would be even better.
Will any other calibers be offered…ie 280 AI??

Two things. 7lbs or less and the pair is getting long in the tooth. Some of the distributor exclusive look better. Even the new compact rifle.
It is very annoying that the 6.5 prc comes in a 20” barrel and the 7 prc comes in a 22” barrel. So much velocity is being lost.
There is no need for a super long barrel with the PRC family. These are perfect sizes, especially for those of us that run suppressors.
