You can enable upscaling but instead of choosing performance you need to pick native (the top option) then it will get rid of the black screen

And I think after the official update,it will run better like DOD2. At least SD can run DOD2 in 20.30fps in low graphics now.

This game looks like ps2 games on any handheld pc, even in rog ally x newly released latest pc handheld device, it looks like ps2 game.
