I didn't see this one coming. On paper, Casey has more experience and she's has looked like the better overall fighter. I'm interested to see what happens when it goes to the ground.
Hopefully Bleda can make a statement.

Even if Tereza wins, they still won't rank her in the top 15. They'll remove O'Neill and promote Miranda Maverick back into it. At least they should because it's the right thing to do.
The situation with the prematurely ranked and embarrassing Luana Pinheiro will be fresh in their memories or bloody well should be.
This announcement reeks of that same favouritism by allowing O'Neill to hand pick an opponent and skip over 20 or 30 other more worthy girls. Particularly those just outside the 15 who have worked damn hard to put themselves in the right position 🤷
Everyone of them would've accepted that offer, so Bleda must've been specifically chosen.
Honestly, as funny as this announcement was in the beginning, it really is ridiculous, and the more I think of it, the more I think it should be scrapped.
Obviously, Tereza is over the moon because it's like all of her Christmases have come at once, so good luck to her.
Unfortunately, however, I disagree with the whole process.

Team O'Neill must think she's an easy target because nothing else makes any sense. Every girl on the roster would've accepted that offer, so she must've been specifically chosen.
How many offers has Casey turned down in the meantime ??
In the interests of fairness to the other higher ranked fighters waiting patiently for their opportunity, perhaps this fight shouldn't be sanctioned. Once again, it just proves how illegitimate this company really is.
