@@jduarte3977 my interpretation of it is I've never knew XG existed as did a lot of people here in the states, but their music caught my attention. It wasn't any billboards, adds or marketing strategies. I heard their songs on Spotify which made me research them. That's my interpretation of how they gained popularity, especially here in the states.

What makes XG stand out amongst the gg that has been coming out of the Asian countries is their natural swag. That "around the way girl" swag. The "fly gurls" energy. Iykyk. It's not a costume. It's not a part of their performances.

I hope people start reacting to their performance on It's Live just posted today... I didn't think it was possible to become even more obsessed. Their voices are AMAZING. I haven't played a group's music incessantly for years. It's like I've been love bombed with music and I can't get them out of my head.
I really want them to blow up. They are surrounded by controversy and criticism in Korea due to silly k-pop politics and that just makes me so sad because they are so much better than they are being treated. Keep that momentum going ladies because the world sees you and we are living!

So one of the main thing I've mentioned was the fact they are a form of "Asian Pop" whether kpop, jpop w/e, they are given creative freedom due to not being signed with a kpop or jpop label. Being part of that kpop culture and its labels makes if very difficult to express one's self, not to mention a lot of kpop songs are written for the groups with very little to no input from the members themselves. These girls have a MASSIVE future ahead of them and I truly believe they will pave the road for a new generation. Can't wait....

alot of the.. young reviewers don't get how nostalgic the MV slaps us boomer with. The spaceship, the tube hall ways and some other little nuances in the MV makes me think of Backstreet Boy's Larger Than Life MV aside they didn't rock a space/robot suit T_T

He is from a Korean Kpop group and is a former K-pop producer. Japanese entertainment company invested only XGALX money. In the Kpop system, Korean staff trained XG members for 3-4 years. Even now, Korean staff are managing and promoting in Korea. The Japanese entertainment that invested money wants to be called only Jpop, but this group should definitely be seen as a Kpop group.
