They are under AVEX, which is a big Japanese music label that has been the center of J-pop industry, and produced artists like Ayumi Hamasaki. Another piece of info to understand J-pop: J-pop didn’t really needed to export abroad like K-pop cuz the domestic market was big enough to profit, meaning their music style has only followed domestic trends (which led to some creative music like Perfume and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu). The problem is big labels like Avex didn’t even allow their MVs to be played by other countries by limiting license etc.. BUT with XG they decided to finally open to the world.
The way the song didn't catch me on first listen but hearing it again it hooked me. Tippy Toes did the same thing to me , I was like this is good but then hearing it again bam it hooked me

He has been preparing for their debut since 2017 (5 years) and they will be active for 10 years and they debuted March 18th with “Tippy Toes”! Kep1er’s Hikaru (formed from the Mnet Survival Show Girls Planet 999 and ranked 7th) is apart of this project and will be added to the group after her contract ends with Kep1er (July, 2024) - at her own discretion according to Simon (meaning after Kep1er’s contract ends if she wants to XG, she is more than willing too, but she is open to other options). The members are (according to the actual music video timestamps): 1. Ayasa Jurin - real name Ayasa Tamaki (mid-short black hair in a messy bun 0:09) - Leader, Lead Rapper, & Vocalist - 2002 2. Before anyone tries to correct me on the YG thing: I literally said, they trained in YG, 1Million, and other *PUBLIC* facilities, but are not affiliated with the company (you can *PAY* to be trained there to learn choreo, dance lessons, and have choreos for your songs/background dancers for them). A lot of their introductory dances were by YGX or 1Million people (or other popular choreographers) and shot in the those facilities!

Yg and Avex partnered and formed a new label XGALX where these girls debuted. That’s why they are also seen in YG building. They basically are like SOMI which is not a YGA but kinda connected hehehe.
They are not from a sublabel of YG neither a sister company. They are from XGALX a subsidiary of AVEX, a big japanese company. They trained at AVEX Artist Academy for 5 years along with Hikaru.
