I have to agree - the Quartermaster EDC is just awesome. Feels great in the hand, easy to carry, works in the kitchen, works in the field. In fact, I love it so much I had to grab its beastly bigger brother as well.
Thanks for doing a video on this version of the Quartermaster. I wasn’t sure how big or small it was just by seeing it in the pictures. Looks like a pretty handy knife, though. I have a full-sized Quartermaster, so I might have to complement it with this EDC version.
Hi. I just got my Quarter Master EDC and that handle is amazing, I love the way the knife looks and performs but the feel of the handle is just great. I have the stacked aged leather and a spacer on each end as well.
Chris, I ordered the exact same knife as yours, the day they dropped on DLT website, 10/29/21. I'm also very fond of my Quartermaster EDC. I've found a bit of a hotspot where the 90° corner on the metal (aluminum?) pommel hits the inside of my hand. A few minutes of radiusing the sharp corner with an inexpensive double sided emery board used for finger nails gave a nice comfortable radius. It's a huge improvement for my grip. ... With that order, I added a Delta Leather Insider XL Pocket Sheath with a strong magnetic flap that goes outside your pocket. I love carrying the QM EDC in my right front pants pocket. It's even comfortable when sitting down and can still be drawn and resheathed while seated. It's a winner combination. ... I love your reviews brother. ... Miserable weather keeps the riff raff away. ... LOL
G'day Chris, ah yep that does tickle my fancy, lol. Must admit I've grown accustom to the convex on the Bravo 1.5, but jeez mate that really looks a design you wanna use regardless. Ultimately the proof is in the pudding but I'd be really surprised if it didn't suit most knife loving folks for some reason or other. Cheers Duke.
Beautiful. I had a really nice stacked leather Case a millennia ago and the leather molded in storage. I'm not sure if I would get that for a field knife sitting in my pack throughout the hunting season for that reason. It would be a 'safe queen'. But dang that is nice!
Got mine today im in love except it needs a different sheath i also oiled the sheath she was stiff and i prefer the dark color the leather oil provides
I just got my new skrama blade from varusteleka, now expecting my pks camp and trail knife revamped, corporal Kelly edition,I can't say I need another knife, but that is awesome,I want one, don't care if it's on 3 inches something,I'd be ok with it as a edc knife, but ever since I've seen your channel,I've wanted me a bark river bravo alpha exclusive, damn there a bit much, but worth the money an will sharpen your knife for life as I heard, could be wrong,I just like love nice knives.
Gunny Scandi… with a fuller, swedge, and through-tang handle. Seriously, stare at it side by side with a Gunny. It is also the Quartermaster’s little brother, no doubt… but as someone looking for a Gunny Scandi, this is even better!
What's your thoughts on falknieven nL3L it looks like yours.I have been following you for years 99 percent are the knives you liked.thanks for sharing. NJOR NL3L
I have the full size quartermaster and like it. It even comes with a decent sheath which is a rarity for BR. I despise the " one crappy sheath fits all" concept with the price of BR knives. I preordered the edc but was disappointed with the execution and the sheath design so I ate the $25. This knife really needs a different grind. For those who have not ordered from DLT before I don't suggest adding their leather treatment to your sheath. It stinks and my knife is always greasy. Do it yourself with obenaufs.
That vehement logo placement sucks. I have the full size quartermaster and the logo is where the bark river one is. Seems like they got lazy and used the same size stencil or whatever.
I can’t wait for the In use review. I had the full size quartermaster and sold it just not one I would ever carry and a safe queen, but this looked right up my alley for edc. I really gravitate to the 3-4” blade range
Jesus even from the thumbnail I can tell that thing is sexy…. I want one but I know it would cost me three babies and change…. Edit: yeah I looked at the price and I can’t afford this girl lol
How is it a paid advertisment? If so, someone owes me $265 back. Try smiling once in a while and save me the cynical crap. If you hate your life, do something to change it.
Stacked leather is my favorite look.

Same steel as STS 7.5!!! I LOVE your new knife!

I LOVE IT!! Temporary knife happiness. It’s been three days …time to look at new knives. Great little knife!
Great looking knife. Haven't kept up with Bark River knives, Jim has raised the prices so much. But I really like that knife. Thanks Chris.
I got one on the way. I really like the look of it. Thanks for showing it to us Chris!
Just as my tongue was riding up the screen...ya caught me👅...😳
Super sweet carry right there my friend!👍👍👍
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Okay okay !!! I'm getting one same as yours "stacked leather grip" ; well done !!! 😀
Great knife ! I love fixed blade EDC knives! That looks like a good one! Have a great day!

This is seriously a stunning knife!
I love the contrasting colors, as well as blade shape. It's a good knife to have for so many tasks.
Good review on the Barkriver knife!
Really liking my Quartermaster edc. That's the Bravo Sentry the one you couldn't figure out the name of it.
Yeah that Sentry is awesome. About to grab one instead of quartermaster haha
I'm a plain black boring micarta kinda guy as well Chris. With that said, I dig that leather handle.

Very nice looking knife. I just might have to indulge on one of these.
Thanks for sharing this one.

Beautiful knife!
I'm looking into the full size quartermaster. Here in Ohio the weather is made up and the seasons don't matter.
Got mine today im in love except it needs a different sheath i also oiled the sheath she was stiff and i prefer the dark color the leather oil provides

I love my quartermaster edc but needs to be thinned out a bit, going to get bark river to raise the grind line a bit. Thanks for the content.
Stopped watching this video and ordered mine instantly, the best $262.46 I’ve spent in a long time on a knife.
I love the look of Bark River knives but I just don't have the confidence to try & sharpen a convex edge.
Hi Chris, have you heard anything about Schrade lately? Reviews used to be all over UA-cam. They still making new knives? Thanks
One beautiful blade thats for sure.
You've cost me more in knives, than all the women I ever had...lol. That's a great looking and a real user knife!!
I’m in the UP for anther afew days. I just got the rapid river double sided fillet knife I’d like to add to the collection.
Gunny Scandi… with a fuller, swedge, and through-tang handle. Seriously, stare at it side by side with a Gunny. It is also the Quartermaster’s little brother, no doubt… but as someone looking for a Gunny Scandi, this is even better!
Hey Chris isn’t that bush bat and that 2nd knife u showed your design.. how can I buy one of them … grail for me for sure
It's like a piece of jewelry. Even Will could like it.
Joy list! So beautiful!!!!!!!
That thing was a fugly- looks like most of his favorite knives
Agreed it's a beauty. Enjoy it.
North County EDC...50-100 miles off the pacific coast, the farther south you go the less humid.
Do thee knve bald come out of handl fourshaveing .? Tanks.
Probably gonna have to get one to put onto one of my vest when i go to the field and such ahhh army we have knives everywhere.
What's your thoughts on falknieven nL3L it looks like yours.I have been following you for years 99 percent are the knives you liked.thanks for sharing. NJOR NL3L
The one he can’t remember is the North Country EDC
My favorite Bark River
Hi Brother Chris you got some pretty cool 😎 stuff
Love bark River,,, wish could afford em
Awesome videos
Sweet knife...If on,y it was s30V my wallet would have been prised open. Close but no cigar this time, but thanks for sharing Chris 👍
Those die cuts on the back of the sheath seem close together. I'd worry about that ripping apart under the strain of belt wear.
Cool to see you so excited for a knife again chris. Looks like gem, my favorite steel, perfect hunting knife. 👊🏻🇺🇸💪🏻
Good lookin knife! Great video!
Do a test in the woods with mantis ! Miss the dynamic duo
Best video title ever 🤣
why does it need a fuller
Kind of looks like a kid version of the Ka-Bar Marine fighting knife from world war ll. Pass, I'll keep my esee knives and bk7 and bk16
I'm waiting for this knife review
Bark river knifes of Michigan?
Northern California is like that but lol that's a big no go for me

Really nice 👍😊
I still like the JX6....
Go to Hawaii if you want what you want, or, Northern Utah. Really!
That vehement logo placement sucks. I have the full size quartermaster and the logo is where the bark river one is. Seems like they got lazy and used the same size stencil or whatever.
I dont normally pay over $75 on a carry knife. I use an abuse them
I need to get me a bark river.
So was it able to cook
No. No hands.
Lol
Is it the damn handle??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It IS!
That handle looks kinda small, even in your petite hands.
Wish I would of saw this before I spent money for a Rick Hinderer Emmit fixed blade. lol
I can’t wait for the In use review. I had the full size quartermaster and sold it just not one I would ever carry and a safe queen, but this looked right up my alley for edc. I really gravitate to the 3-4” blade range
The names you were looking for were the Bravo Sentry and the Essential.
Rosie cheeks
Love your videos
Jesus even from the thumbnail I can tell that thing is sexy…. I want one but I know it would cost me three babies and change….
Edit: yeah I looked at the price and I can’t afford this girl lol
I bought the first run Quartermaster in stacked leather. First Bark River I sold off on eBay. Not for me.
Perfect State(area)......Kauai, Hawaii. Only survival needs are money and sunscreen. Knives are coming too of course
If modern woman could do much of anything. You might marry it?
Looks like marbles
i know brass guards are very traditional .. but might have looked nice with a silver nickel one.
do not your wife about it
Looks just like a smaller version of the knife my father gave me that he was issued in WWII...Carttagraugus 2250
Totally agreed. Nice catch 😄👍
Kinda drunk
A tool reviewing a tool
Do you feel better now? 🤗
@@preparedmind101 I'll feel better when you're taking a dirt nap, b***h.
IMO it's over priced.
The one you don't recognize looks like a Gunny Sidekick to me
Too small. I'm thinking North Country EDC, but some many people saying different names.
@@WanderingBobAK is it too small? Maybe a Bravo Sentry then blade shape isnt right for a NCEDC
Paid advertisement.....junk.
