- I'm losing weight! Whoooooo! The med change seems to be doing good things for me so far which I am VERY thankful for. Today I decided that I wanted to try the 'try not to tic' challenge while I tell a random story. You'll have to watch to see how I did!
I do not have Tourette’s but when I watch people with tics, I twitch uncontrollably. Love that for me
Hailey Bounds same, but I have a mild sensory disorder. I squeeze my hands together a lot of the time but when I see other people tic my “tics” get worse and I snap my fingers, whistle, click, clap, and sway my head while tilting it? I don’t know how to describe it. I used to jerk my head and it hurt my neck but I don’t do that as often anymore. It doesn’t help that I also have schizophrenia so the mix of the two really do me in XD
Yeah same
I have stress tics, so they only really happen when I’m nervous, anxious or stressed. But I do get triggered when watching other people have tics

Ooo can you do the alphabet challenge next if you haven’t done it already where you have to say the alphabet and if you tic while saying the alphabet you have to start again.

If you still have the editing software issue, try out DaVinci Resolve by Blackmagic Design. It’s a free software but on a really high professional level comparable to the Adobe software. I don’t know what you used before so u might need to read into how it works a bit since it’s quite complex but it’s really good. (That sounds like an ad but it’s really not lol)

I was rly confused until I realised I posted this an hour ago, also, due to corona I haven’t got the chance to get a proper diagnosis and my tics are really bad like yours and when school opens up again I don’t know what to say to my teachers I can’t tell them I have a tic disorder or tourrettes because I’m not diagnosed with anything. What should I tell them?
I would mention that you have tics and maybe describe what kinds of tics you have. They may be able to put you by the door so you can step out if your tics get too in the way. I didn't know that I had Tourette's until college. I would tell my middle and high school teachers that I had tics where I would turn to the left or look behind me so they seated me so that I wouldn't cheat during tests.

So here’s a story I think is about tics.
So in 1st grade my friend daylyn (male) liked to curse I didn’t figure out what tics were until 3rd grade and then remembered him. Also he got detention all the time for swearing.

I definitely wasn't expecting the spider story lol. Even though I don't have tourette, I have serious arachnophobia, so it provoked me some terrible tics (if that can be called tic, I dont know the precise terminology sorry). In short, I think I lost lmao.

Offensive language, including curse words and slurs are part of a rare subsection of Tourette's Syndrome called Coprolalia- basically, my brain shouts out the worst possible thing and if I don't say it for some reason (like trying to hold it in) it comes out louder and I physically hurt myself. I would never say that in my own choice of vocabulary, though I do curse.
It’s a common word to hear in society people pick up words
