Can't suggest you much outside Physiotherapy but still some of the options I know are Hospital Administration, Chiropractic amd Osteopathy fellowship courses and other alternative medicine courses.
It's impossible to infer a relationship between mobilizing the hip and needing a hip replacement. Replacements are often done for hip OA or complicated femoral neck fractures...mobilization is done if you're stiff/painful in the hip.

Can be many causes :
1. Hip impingement syndromes
2. HIP OA
3. Post traumatic STIFFNESS
4. SI joint dysfunction etc
