srsly!! you didn’t read any of the reviews from the past year? you were expecting more for only $50 a night? none of what you showed was disturbing enough for the price point! there is a great need for affordable 2-3 star lodging near disney, and while this definitely isn’t up to solid chain hotel choices, it was only $50 and had more than the bare minimum. be more real!!
I had a pretty good hit rate using Priceline dealbreakers up until this one. Blood and urine stains were a little too much for me but to each their own I guess

Exactly. I’ve stayed at a few similarly named “resorts” that were good alternatives to staying on property, and thought this one would be similar. Glad you were able to avoid making the same mistake I did
Yikes! That place was truly gross. Too bad you had to waste your time and money there, thanks for the warning about that awful hotel.

got this place on a priceline hidden deal years ago, saw the reviews and instantly called to cancel that was even before the pandemic hit, seen nothing but videos on how bad it is....good lord. thank god i got it cancelled and refunded
Yup that’s how I ended up here too. Should have done more research once I got the reveal. Lesson learned
@@UncleMadd my bf and i went to universal 2022 and stayed at the dockside endless summer resort, worth every penny of the 700 we paid for hotel while we were there, got a free beach ball at the pool, the drinks and food were awesome, they upgraded us free due to a shit hotel we stayed at hours before and got kicked out cuz they had cockroaches everywhere and said something (grand prix motel daytona beach FL). ill drop extra cash on staying at a good hotel
@@JaceD4V1S88 that’s awesome! I’ve stayed at Cabana Bay a couple times and loved it. Unviersal’s resort are definitely slept on.
From the UK, this makes me soooo sad, we stayed there, my only time to florida back in 2005! It was Best Western lakeside, don't think it was that bad
That’s the sad part you can tell it was once a nice place but it’s been run into the ground
I stayed there several times but I can see from these reviews that the quality has gone down. Some advice..... always check the mattress under the sheets and the seams.

That’s a good question. I’m sure how ever the ownership is set up it’s in some shady way that protects them. My guess is no one really flips out because it’s so cheap to begin with that most are just happy to get out of there. Would probably be very different if they were trying to charge more
The property is privately owned by two investors located in China. The management company is Mellinium Properties an international resort management company. The employees have stated that the ownership does not care about the state of the property and refuse to invest anything to make repairs. The management staff are inept and dishonest as well. The property should not be legal to operate. It is absolutely horrible.
@@SincereSailor makes sense that everyone in charge is out of site out of mind. Just cashing checks with no regard for the state of disrepair the property is in
This hotel / motel is definitely False Advertisement on their website as the place is definitely a nightmare in all honesty as the place is falling apart and it's definitely a disgusting bates motel in Orlando in Osceola county..... sure it was once a resort in the early 90s during the " Florida Project " during that decade but after that NOPE

And ohh year the room phones don't work and there is no dial tone and the entire room is just nasty as I couldn't stay a night there knowing how run down Lakeside is by Disney as the place should be condemned and shutdown and turned over to the Health Department as well as the police as well since I heard a lot of shady stuff happening there at night such as vehicles break ins and drug dealings and other stuff that should be reported to the local authorities even the alarm no longer works so the Fire Department should be reported to as well as Maingate can be sued for lots of money
Completely agree. Don’t know how they’re allowed to continue operating with the amount of issues/violations they have
