Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews I like it smells like a fresher profumo to me with woods ...not bad I think it's quite fire. Uniqueness I understand but this one is nice. Not for the older crowd apparently
they released more of an youthful fragrance as adg line lacks that...i really like the performance and there is the original on the drydown.ofcourse for the niche lovers and experienced noses this wont cut it, but for young people who just got in to the game will definitely like it.nice review
I really like it. And honestly I didn't like it at first at all. I almost returned the bottle. Maybe it was just the opening. I thought it smelled way too fruity and feminine but after sitting with it for awhile and allowing the complexities to come out it definitely grew on me.
Smelled the line at the boutique store and surprisingly this one got my attention more than profumo!
I actually love this scent. I hated at first but then the more i wore i love it. Great compliment getter as well

Well Americans are not very sophisticated.
I like Absolu more than Profumo. But, I tend to go for the freshy type fragrances.
I smelled profumo and absolu in the store and liked absolu more (read: fitted me more). Ofc it was from a paper so on skin it might differ.
I agree it smells a bit generic at first but the dry down is nice.

I hope to see more critical reviews of this kind. Not only for designers but also for niche scents.
I generally nowadays just avoid sampling flankers of any kind. Its nothing more then a money making move.

The bottle looks amazingly classy but I still prefer the original over this.

Good review but I have received more compliments from ladies from this one than the Profumo. I guess they are not all professionals
I disagree. It is kinda generic but it is well done. Fresh and sweet with good longevity.

Ur right tho, it’s not that exciting. I tried this, Armani nuit I think it was called (really liked that), and the new Paco lucky which I liked but prefer ultra male in that genre.

The Profumo Special Blend version is enough for me.
To me it smells like a whole lot of Iso E Super with some sweetness, marine notes and spices thrown in. Sticks onto the skin, even a shower couldnt get rid of it.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with this fragrance when I tried it recently, so spot on review...enjoyed.
To me all Acqua di Gio's are generic. But hey thats just me. Maybe i come around......sometime in another lifetime. 😄 Nice video as always.

Best fragrance ever
Does it have anything in common with the rest of the ADG line, no. Is Profumo better, YES. BUT This fragrance I find does very well with compliments and the ladies like it and as a fresh scent it does ok. I did buy it and would wear is as a casual summer fragrance

I'm not a fan of those one either. Reminds me of the original AZZARO WANTED with a splash of nautica voyage out something.
It felt like they just made stronger with you slightly different and rebottled it. Its a sad offering
bravo good pronunciation :) i’ve got EDT , essenza and profumo . For my taste essenza is the best for his extra freshness against the incense of profumo . Absolu don’t smell bad but the price is too high.

I didn’t like it as well. Very generic and somewhat juvenile for my taste. Btw,you did not mention another AdG flanker,Essenza,what do you think about it? Have you tried it as well?

There really nothing unique about many of the fragrances out today unless you pay a lot of money. Interesting to me how all the reviewers love and hate the same fragrances.

I'll be honest, I don't like any of the Acqua Di Gio, but Absolu, generic or not, doesn't smell great. Beautiful presentation, though.

If there was a fragrance I knew you’d hate before even watching the video it was this. I haven’t even smelled it that’s just from other reviews. And the bottle what the hell? It looks like a D & G The One type and it’s a modern generic scent? Bottle doesn’t match at all. Don’t know why the bottle wasn’t the blue type

I hate the term “generic” but this is the first time I can remember ever smelling a fragrance and thinking “generic” exactly! It smells like a blend of all the new fresh releases of the past two years. I also can’t detect any of the ADG DNA at all. Your review is word for word what I would say. Bummer!!

Was at Macy's yesterday and they were trying to push this on me the whole time I was there.. So I knew not to buy it. Def not worthy.. maybe for a kid in HS. Scent doesn't match the bottle design
Generic it is. Stronger With You seems to be a great release compared to it.
Essenza is another ADG that is very nice but I heard it is getting discontinued from an SA as well as from the forums. Thanks, Seb.

Wife loved it at the counter ... I had to say no way. I really don't know what she smelled. Believe me, if I even enjoyed it a little, I would have bought it because of her reaction. Bought Prada Luna Rosa Carbon instead.
Damm sorry to hear that buddy, had a feeling it would be disappointing, they need to just cut that Marine out, but they probably won’t till everyone just stops buying it...... I’m curious to check out the Special Blend, perhaps a unique tobacco mix, they need to just get tips from the old beast One Man Show, the true genetic powerhouse for a killer price👍🏼Also, Sebastian I still haven’t received that Oud sample from Tauer perfumes I think you were going to send out....?
Special Blend is the only one I own. Plus Profumo smells awfully like PE 360 Red on my skin, so there's no point really. Still trying to convince my brother to sell me his 60% full vintage 2000 bottle, but it's his wife's favourite so it looks like the good old days are over. lol To me Absolu smells like a freshie version of Stronger With You mixed with the "fruits" from Dylan Blue. And how hilariously poignant is it that it's called Acqua di Joe? LOL It looks like "disappointing" is going to be the word of 2018.

Absolutely true! Doesn't have anything in common with the other AdGs. Absolu smells cheap and has an annoying synthetic sweetness. Profumo rocks!
