Craft Passion now has different versions of the pattern uploaded. If you download the version with the seam allowance already, no need to add the 1/4 seam allowance around the pattern.

Whether using a machine, or by hand, you can try your hand at sewing a face mask! We used the pattern by the awesome @craftpassion -you can get the pattern at bit.ly/craftpassionfacemask in different sizes (I'm considered a tall Asian woman, and I prefer the men’s size mask)!
We’re still gonna schedule a Zoom Sew-Along, but for those of you who can manage with instruction from a video, we tried to make this one as easy to follow as we could.
Happy making, and be safe! Tag #MakeAtHomeTogether and @craftpassion so we can see what you make! ❤️

This is the pattern I’ve been looking for...can I just add bias instead of T-shirt strips? Also a wire nose piece

Sorry for the late reply-but yes! You definitely can.

Hi, thanks for the video! Couple of questions. What tension are you using on your machine with this fabric? Also, if you don't have tshirt strings and have elastic hair bands and also elastic roll how can I go about using it instead of tshirt sraps?

Hello! Tension is 4. I usually go between 4 to somewhere between 4 and 5. 😊
For elastic band, you can insert it into the sides of the main lining, before rolling the fabric in, and sewing. For elastic roll-would this be garter?

Arlene Devroy True in some sequences. Our setup is still pretty limited. But we hope the titles made up for it. 😊 We hope you also got a good view of the sewing!

I noticed that I did not top stitch..so every time I inhaled the material would interfere with my breathing..TFS

Top stitching holds everything in place! 👍🏼
