- Hi and welcome to my channel! This may not be my first recording, but this is the first song I ever wrote. I believe I wrote it in 2009 between my second and last child when I really had a passion to serve the Lord. I had asked to join the worship team at our local church when my youngest was born. But life became very hectic and overwhelming and we did not continue to go to church. I did not write another song until I wrote they lyrics to "Unexpected Journey" as a poem in spring of 2018, which I later composed into a song in the fall of 2018. It really speaks to how defeated I felt about my life because of the struggles and trials I face in that previous decade, yet the Lord was encouraging me to focus on Him, as He was my solution!

I like to listen to Christian music each morning before getting into scripture. This song popped up on my radar this morning. It was very inspirational and thought provoking. I look forward to hearing more. Great work!

One suggestion. Tighten this up. What is the most important thing you want to share? This is a very long song. In order to break it up, modulate up into higher keys . This will keep the flow moving.
