Perhaps we don't appreciate the fact that you are not only painting this in 20 minutes, but also explaining your process as well. This requires great multi-tasking abilities.
Thank you!
I appreciate you noticing that! Yes, painting and talking can be difficult! Just takes practice. :-)
Really great idea to make 20 minutes series ❤ i am always frustrated when i see 2 hours tutorial, which takes me the whole day. 20 minutes is perfect
So glad to hear it. I had the same thought. It’s hard to sit through a long tutorial!
Thank you! I think I've been afraid of painting too bright. Very helpful.
Stunning and bold painting 🎨 I like the limited color choices what an Amazing little sunny rise painting ✌️🎊🏞 🌅
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks for this- loving in Arizona we have beautiful sunsets which I have never tried to paint. This has given me a push in that direction.
Fantastic tutorial! I love the 20 minutes! Thank you!
Just finished my painting. This series is awesome.
That makes me so happy! :-) :-)
this series is a future staple of the UA-cam Art Game ! thank your for sharing .
Thanks! I feel like 20 minutes is just enough. Any longer and people get bored. :-p

👍👍👍
Hi just found you! Great demo. I already learned something. Add the bright colors to the sky first. I do sunrise on location and its hard to get it done and capture the colors as they happen. Great way to speed it up and keep it clean. I found cobalt v hue by Winton (Windsor Newton). On Jerry's. Its a mix of q red and diox violet and white. Senn. Is a mix of q red and manganese violet, which is rare, expensive, and toxic. There is probably a difference in intensity and hue between the two. You are right about diox v. Its strong and I've been wondering how I can use mine up so I'll experiment with a mix with q red . Sounds beautiful! And perfect for those purple morning clouds. Thanks !
Thank you so much!
Anna- are the brushes to the left of your palette soaking in oil?
Yes they are! I've just started doing this, and the brush tray is a design by one of my artist friends. They are soaking in safflower oil.
Are you using artist grade or cooking oil safflower oil??
It's just organic oil from the grocery store@@jaywon6749. I rinse the brushes in Gamsol before resuming work.
