Thanks for the recommendation on the book! Sometimes when I find a colour palette that I like I'm just guess and mixing trying to figure out how to make it, which never works!!
I like that dark purple over the periwinkle color...and that sage green is really nice. I personally love light blue with purple. I can't wait to see what you do with this piece...You always do something fabulous 😊💜💚💜💚💜
You sure show us that pouring doesn’t always come out the way you want it, that it takes patience and perseverance. I really liked the dark purple area. Also thanks for talking about the book. I will be ordering that.
That book looks awesome and would be very handy. I like the painting as is. Called it “Simplicity “. It’s very pretty 😍!!! I think it would have helped you if your paints were thinner. I was having the same problem and I started thinning my paints more and the paints moved soooo much better.
Thank you, Joanne! I was more unhappy with my color choices than the paint consistency. I like my paints a bit on the thick side because I prefer the look I get over when more water is added, but that's just my personal preference. Thanks for watching!
I love this one....and I do believe you will be able to paint the sides that gorgeous light mauve? quite easily. But what I love is not only the color but the transition from the bottom to the top....where the high intensity, rich bottom flows so smoothly and effortlessly into the mid point where it is not so defined but very airy and soft....right into the negative space. I suppose you will do an embellishment BUT...still love it as it is! For a lady who says she has a lot of difficulty with these Dutch pours? You seem to have found your ability very well ....like consider this...you saw with your first attempt with the hair dryer that you didn't like what you saw (the color you made up and the silver), and thought you didn't have enough paint etc and WHAM! You nailed a 'beaut' none the less hmm? :) I love that sage green with the periwinkle and royal purple contrast!!!
I am far more comfortable with Dutch pours now than when I first tried them! My new little hairdryer makes all the difference! Thank you for your kind feedback! 😘
That dark purple blue is Gorgelicious!!! The Arteza sage is a great background color! I have used it that way. You could try it sometime! And, I found many copies of that book in lots of places, even Amazon!
Hi Chris loving this Dutch pour with those amazing colors my favorites, thanks for d=sharing, I have the same blow dryer bur fear to use it because it doesn't have a cool setting did you remove the heating element? or you use it hot?
Hello Chris, this was so pretty. I would never put these colors together but will now - WOW, I love the wispy purple on the bottom - I just kept thinking of an iris and leaves with a dutch pour effect - love this one for sure 💚💜
The deep purple n Pearl green are gorgeous together!!
Ohhhh!! Love this! 💕
Purple fan, eh Lori? 💜
I freakin if love it! I especially love the dark purple flower on the bottom right but I love the whole thing. It’s almost got a mystical feel.
Thanks so much, Kelly! I appreciate your enthusiastic feedback!
So pretty Chris! I really like how the gradient of the colours ended up. An embellishment on this one would make it really special 🥰
Thanks Mairi! I will share what I come up with when I get to it! 😊

You are very welcome! A viewer said you can find it on Amazon, too! 😘
I think it’s very pretty! This is my favorite color combo and purple is my favorite.💐
Thanks so much! I embellished with irises last night and am quite happy with it! 😊

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Tera! I'm looking forward to doing something with it when it dries. 😊😘

Good! I use it a lot, especially when brush painting. 😊
I think it is gorgeous
Thanks very much, Jane! 💜
Lovely and delicate
Thanks for watching, Linda! 😘

I'm pretty good...thanks, Becky! 😘
I love it.
Thanks for watching! 😘
I'm not a huge lover of purple but this is pretty Chris!🖌☺
Thanks Shannon! I painted white irises over it and quite like it now!
What an awesome book!! I gotta find me one for sure
I use mine almost daily! 😊 Thanks for watching!

That's great to hear Joy! I'll pass it on. Yes, that would be a lovely background color...watch for it! 😘
Nice !
Thank you! 😘
I like it, think the colors go well together just not enough of the pale purple. But very pretty I think.
I painted white irises over it and am very happy with it now. 😊

I use it hot...wouldn't know how to remove heating element! Usually low is sufficient to move the paint around. Thanks for watching! 😘
Beautiful colors. I’m ready for Easter ! What do you use for varnish?
I use Liquitex Gloss Varnish, mixed 50/50 with water, applied with a soft cloth in several (8+) thin coats. 😊
@@ChrisJeszeck thank you Chris. You always take the time to answer my questions. 🙂🙂🙂
Hi from U.K.
Hello from the loony state of California!
What is a speck of paint? LOL
Haha! Can't recall what I was referring to but I would say "smaller than a pea"!

Well, I know you love purple! 💜 Thank you, Lori! 😘

The pearl green is subtle but nice. Thanks!
