It’s so ridiculous dude like, I game with my headset on but I want to use my 32” monitor to watch movies and stuff and I’m not gonna wear my headset to watch movies. Ugh.
Thank you! I took have 2x 24" MSI monitors. They have LEDs on the back too. I'm doing Lyft and I'm mounting them on the back of my front seats of my Lincoln MKZ. I'm putting my Series S in it with 8TB of memory for games. I was having trouble getting around the audio problem. Thanks to you, it's been solved it.
Big loss for Xbox. Needing an extractor is laughable when the PS5 can perform with speakers and no extractor. Now I know why the series x refused to put out any sound. SMDH
Extremely easy to do just set mine up. the side of the box he shows, shows exactly how to setup and you don't need to change any settings just plug in and go
So I copied your exact setup and can’t get any sound out of my speakers only a buzzing coming from the sub any advice this has been giving me issues all day it hasn’t worked once
Does the audio extractor really make a big difference? My old acer has audio jack I use. I'm shopping around for a new monitor cuz myn is only 1080p/55hz. Not to write a to large comment but my series s is the first console iv had sense 2012. Theres a lot little things like QHD im just now learning about.
He had some good points in this video. However, the example you use with that particular game was terrible. Nonetheless, good stuff. I have the same speakers and yes they work well.
Honestly so easy that you don't need a video for it just plug in and go directions he shows on the box are very simple. Works great no setting change necessary
@@kurtrobertson9884 if it was that easy there wouldn't be a ton of videos explaining how to do it...so if you already know great for you but your comment serves no purpose.
@@dylanporto7174 I actually found an easier way if your monitor has a headphone jack. You don't even need a splitter. Just use the 3.5 millimeter from the monitor to the aux port on any speakers and it should work.

I tried using one of these and it messed with my video made it look like a lower resolution do i just need to buy a better one? Or is the problem my second hdmi cable isnt up to par?
It's a throughput bypass, the extractor has 2 hdmi. One hdmi cable goes from your console to the box. Another hdmi cable then goes from the box to your TV/monitor and sends video signal only. A separate cable carries the extracted audio to your audio device's input from the box.

After spending 8 hours and 6 UA-cam vids yours is the only one that helped me get sound on our new gaming monitor!! Thank you
nope
That's not true😂

With more an more people using monitors you’d think the consoles would have a built in outlet for this
Just goes to show the console companies don’t care about the consumer, just the profit

righttt? bouta go to university and i’m done with using my headphones alone ngl

I'm very unpleasantly surprised at the Xbox series s not having a simple audio out aux jack!!!! Unforgivable!

This is the perfect video I needed bro thank youuuu
Still doing work for people to this day bro thanks for this information I thought I was gonna suffer and play with headphones my whole life😭😭
Thank you! To the point and great! I was getting annoyed having to put my headphones on all the time haha
Thanks something i been looking for to do!
But you sacrifice HDR, right? That is something I'm not willing to do. Damn.
It works but you cannot stream video on certain streaming apps

this man is definitely selling those things haha
Can’t you just hook the speakers up to the monitor itself?
I wish myself I could do that, but turns out not every monitor has the ability. I can't basically Hook in anything besides the hdmi
Yes if it has audio out most monitors don't cheaper TVs do. .
Your hdmi 2.1 carries audio yall. Just plug the USB in for power and plug the 50mm jack in
I plugged my usb in my xbox and the jacks on the monitor not working 😞
I can't believe they're not Bluetooth enabled 😩
Didn't show how to set it up or use settings in the x box or if you needed to change settings.

Same problem
Do you have any sound lag with your setup? I can't really tell from the video. Does the sound input the same as when you use headphones?
Sorry for the late response, I have no lag with the speakers or headphones.

you have to use two hdmis, one from the xbox to the splitter, then one from the splitter to the monitor. 3.5 goes to speakers

I'm trying to hook my Bose solo 5 to my Xbox would this work
I have Bowers & Wilkins high end computer speakers. I tried this method and still no audio in my Xbox Series S
Is the sound very quiet or no sound at all?
It works in 120hz. No video lag problems?
You can just connect aux from monitor to sound system
Not all monitors have that
@@evers6214 I wish it was that easy..the ASUS VG249 monitor is lacking that capability
I think most of these monitors with aux ports only support mono sound, not stereo.
Doesnt make since your hdmi Carrie's audio.
what about an amp
if the Series S doesnt do audio out then I guess theres no point in trying a cheaper method like an optical to usb adapter?
Do i need to plug in a aux cable or can I just use the usb
does this support 120 refresh rate?
Or just use and aux cord hooked up to your speaker and controller and then that will work
