What are the tell tale signs of worn emulsion tubes ? Will the needles show signs of wear before the tubes are worn out ?

Usually will run extremely rich and have poor throttle response. More or less it will be the same effect as leaving your choke on and riding around. The bike will probably stall at low RPM. Worn emulsion tubes are most common in Mukuni carbs on all makes of bikes. If you have a Japanese motorcycle or Ducati 900ss or M900 from the 1980’s or 1990’s with stock carbs and north of 20,000 miles, your emulsion tubes are probably shot

@@Krankenwagen2010 I believe they are now out of production. Please email us prior to purchase and I will bug the race shop that I get them from, to bug their machinist to make more. This happens to all the old Mukuni carbs.
