  • Hello everyone and welcome back to The Beatles Forever. A viewer made a suggestion of doing a video about Brian Epstein's book A Cellarful of Noise. I thought that was a great idea.
This book will have us being eyewitness to how Brian became their manager and led them to stardom.
Let's see how it unfolds now.

In Great Britain it was illegal to be gay and that's probably why Brian left that bit out of his book. In 1967 the law was changed if you were guy you had to aged 21 which has since been changed. In 1974 as a 13 year old my eldest sister took me and my brother to the Everyman Theatre. We saw John Paul George Ringo and Bert. Mike McCartney was in the audience. After the show we went for a meal and when asking about Brian dying, my sisters theory was due to his private life it was possibly suicide which was a shame in my opinion. When The Beatles got rejected by DECCA that same company then signed the most appalling bands due to missing out on The Beatles

thank you for sharing your comments. That was very interesting. I be that DECCA guy was kicking himself for letting the Beatles slip away.

@@thebeatlesforever Pleasure to share with your excellent channel. As for DECCA they did sign the stones but kicked themselves for missing out on The Beatles.Thank you for posting these videos.

@@thebeatlesforeverI wouldn't feel too bad about Decca missing out on the Beatles. Signing up the Rolling Stones turned out to be a pretty good consolation prize after all 🏆💰 💰 💰 💰 💰 😂

An utterly amazing story of genius, luck, talent, hard work and persistence. Meanwhile, Lennon's cheeky suggested book title reinforces, intentionally or not, the Beatles-Beat Generation connection.
