After I inherited my parent's record collection a decade ago, I sold all of them but managed to keep one... Herb Alpert's Whipped Cream and Other Delights. It's now in a frame. Yes, I love the album cover too... ha! Oh, Tutu was the only Miles album I ever owned, on CD, for many years. It holds a special place as being my favorite of all his recordings. I have most of what you showed (Miles) on CD now. Love your vids!!!

Passport and Herb Alpert were not really jazz. They both had elements of jazz but were more instrumental pop with Latin, disco, and jazz leanings.

For instrumental jazz, I’m all about Coltrane. For vocal jazz, I tend to roll with Frank or Ella.
