What bugs me about those fans is that they don't even consider themselves kpop fans. They insult kpop in general even thought BTS is freaking kpop. That's why no matter how much I love BTS, I'm never calling myself an army. They're stupid.
DBSK: a group where none of their members lacks in singing, dancing, physical appearance, and variety sense. DBSK, the king of K-pop. They achieved so many things during their reign and they are still breaking records. I hope the members will be on stage together after they finished their military service.
HOT performing together has given me some hope. I think they can do it as long as there is demand and the members don't have any personal beef, which I don't think there is.
This is what I miss the most about TVXQ being a 5 man group. I miss their acapella rendition of their songs. Separate they're amazing, but there was something magical when their voices blended together.

To me, that makes them not only entertainers, but actual singers. Plus, the fact that they can compose (and I find that Yoochun is the most skilled at it) also makes them musicians. That is a rare sight in k-pop where you mostly get the feeling that they do not know music that much.

This is the real acapella. Nowadays k-pop groups just sing without music accompaniment in the same note and fans already called it acapella lol. Some also harmonize but only one or two harmonize while the others sing the original song. That's just harmonization not proper acapella. Can't believe the standard of acapella groups had been reduced to this definition.
DBSK was probably the best thing ever that SM had and just let depart. Why couldn't SM be more considerate and hold on to these talented people? It's such a shame that we haven't seen any groups like this again, these days, in variety shows, the mc will ask the vocalist to sing and the dancer to dance and then continue with their variety skills. I'm not saying it's a bad thing because we are able to see more side of the idols but it will be great to see any acapella performance from idols again.

These days kpop groups tend to focus more on dance and rap. Barely any groups that are vocal-centric. I miss DB5K a lot :( I hope there will soon appear groups that focus more of a vocal group rather than a dance group or rap group.
They were legends and still are. I barely see a group who all members are excellent in dancing and singing now. SM ruined them. And before you Bash JYJ, you should know that thanks them the slavery contract is now banned in Korea music industry. I really feel thankful that TVXQ is a group from the 2000s bcause people nowadays wont appreciate their talents. Nowadays, people dont look at this diamond-ly talents. Anybody else become a Cassie way after the split? Discovered them through a musical Junsu was in. About 2 1/2 years ago for me. I'd never heard anything like them and they still never cease to amaze me. They (TVXQ5) weren't just iconic in the kpop world...they're iconic in music in general.

I fell in love w them shortly after their Mirotic promos, and made up for 6 years of history in like 6 months of binging everything. I was pretty much obsessed in a very admiring and respecting way lol. I remember the split so clearly and it ruined me so badly, I was so hopeful but it’s already been over 10 years now.. theyve been apart for longer than theyve been together and it literally kills me thinking they’ll never perform together again as 5.. i wish i knew them since debut and couldve loved them earlier and so much more.. I cant describe my feelings for this group. I feel so much adoration for them and im so thankful. I feel a deep deep sense of love for them that i cant compare to anything to maybe my first love that has moved on and will never come back.. so im just living the past.. sigh ok rant over.
I got into them in 2015 :D I was going through some anime openings and heard Share the World. Instantly fell in love with DB5K, and binged through a great majority of their songs
Knew them in 2008 but I was 10 and was very much still into cartoons. Knew about their breakup but was too young to understand anything. Two years later when they came back with only two members, that’s when I was big enough to understand and that was when it hit me that I’ll never see all five of them together on stage again. I didn’t hate my childhood but I sure wish I’d been born earlier so I’d at least have enough time to experience them as five.

this is the first time in my 5 years of being a Kpop fan did I ever research about DBSK...and I might say that their vocals are the best and cannot be compared (even with my bias groups right now)...I heard their song Mirotic at my early years of being a Kpop fan and they' already gained my respect with that just one song...aigoo

These days kpop groups tend to focus more on dance and rap. Barely any groups that are vocal-centric. I miss DB5K a lot :(
I hope there will soon appear groups that focus more of a vocal group rather than a dance group or rap group.

They were legends and still are. I barely see a group who all members are excellent in dancing and singing now. SM ruined them. And before you Bash JYJ, you should know that thanks them the slavery contract is now banned in Korea music industry. If they didn't fight for their right back then who knows whatever happen to your bias esp SM artists now

I really feel thankful that TVXQ is a group from the 2000s bcause people nowadays wont appreciate their talents. Nowadays, people dont look at this diamond-ly talents. They count man-made views, records etc. Those days when TVXQ was at their peak, people from other fandoms acknowledged their achievements and not query their records. Thats why I feel thankful TVXQ is not nowadays KPOP group.

Anybody else become a Cassie way after the split? Discovered them through a musical Junsu was in. About 2 1/2 years ago for me. I'd never heard anything like them and they still never cease to amaze me. They (TVXQ5) weren't just iconic in the kpop world...they're iconic in music in general.
Anna Dahl For me it was about 7 years ago. Discovered them when I was 12. Saw them through Running Man and got interested. It’s also how funny that I like their song “Free Your Mind” that was used as an OST in Origami Warriors without knowing it was them who sang the song 😂
Same! Although I'm running on my 8th yr with them this year. First saw their live for doushite in the a nation in 2008 and was floored how good they were at live. It was never the same for me again.
I fell in love w them shortly after their Mirotic promos, and made up for 6 years of history in like 6 months of binging everything. I was pretty much obsessed in a very admiring and respecting way lol. I remember the split so clearly and it ruined me so badly, I was so hopeful but it’s already been over 10 years now.. theyve been apart for longer than theyve been together and it literally kills me thinking they’ll never perform together again as 5.. i wish i knew them since debut and couldve loved them earlier and so much more..
I cant describe my feelings for this group. I feel so much adoration for them and im so thankful. I feel a deep deep sense of love for them that i cant compare to anything to maybe my first love that has moved on and will never come back.. so im just living the past.. sigh ok rant over.
I got into them in 2015 :D I was going through some anime openings and heard Share the World. Instantly fell in love with DB5K, and binged through a great majority of their songs
Knew them in 2008 but I was 10 and was very much still into cartoons. Knew about their breakup but was too young to understand anything. Two years later when they came back with only two members, that’s when I was big enough to understand and that was when it hit me that I’ll never see all five of them together on stage again. I didn’t hate my childhood but I sure wish I’d been born earlier so I’d at least have enough time to experience them as five.
For me they are the real legend of kpop. 2016 And I still love them :((((
