This guy has been my favorite comedian for over 20 years how in the hell is it possible he doesn't even have a 100k fans? Just goes to show that 99.99% are missing a chromosome or 2, actually that makes perfect sense. Stanhope for president!

He's abused himself with drugs and alcohol for DECADES. What an absolute champion of just life in general. He's got his nest, a small but loyal fan base and enough fuck you money to be a spectator. I love this man. Reminds me of my high school friend Jimmy Brewster, but Doug's 1,000X more talented. Like Doug, Jimmy used to go to thrift stores at high school age to buy vintage grandpa suits. Shortly after I convinced him to shave the top of his head to appear to be balding & complete the old man look, we were pulled over while he was driving. The officer asked him for his license & registration. The look on the cop's face when he realized Jimmy was 17, not 71 is forever burned into my mind.
Great story. Nice to hear about people who aren't famous. Sure Stanhope's funny, but a look at the comment section shows how much groveling is always directed toward celebrities, no matter how edgy they are. All the Best to you and Jimmy

I swear this is Helium Portland Sept 2021. I loved that whole show - I have been a fan since 2004, and that show was one of the best DS performances I had ever watched of his - and wished that tour would have been put out as a special. I love this so much.
I honestly enjoyed our most recent plague. It was quiet, I could go for late night walks and it was a fucking ghost town. I live in the city and I could see the stars. The few ok events that did happen weren't super crowded. It was fuckin' awesome. That said, there really aren't that many good plague jokes yet. So I dunno. Coin flip.
Don't want to be another "hell yeah" comment; but this is what I needed and why I'm so glad Stanhope is still giving us his mind and comedy!! Fuckin hilarious and then some.
