I dont care if your lifted, what wheels, lights or accessory you have it doesn't impress me anymore but when I see factory half doors on a JK I'm like "oooooh factory half doors👾" lmao
The outer rubber is just a jacket. Lots of heavy-duty equipment out there with sun beat hose with the rubber jacket missing, the steel inside is what holds the pressure. Nothing wrong with replacing the hoses, but they could have gone a long time still. The steel inside would wear on whatever it was rubbing on, a split hose tiewrapped on is a good fix for this issue.
Not really, just the PSC ram seemed beefier to me so it made sense that it will hold up better. The relocated ram is no longer exposed to rocks and the hydraulic hoses are protected. Just trying to make components hold up longer.
Your Jeep looks great! I'm thinking about getting the Dana 60s. Are those 40s? If so, what backspacing do you have on your wheels? Your vids are great!
Just ordered up a PSC big bore with ram setup and definitely want to do the spiral wrap like you did. What size is the spiral wrap that you went with? Thanks
Dude ! You crack me up when u put your hand to feel the hot air n say “fuck” lol Btw you did a bad ass job on wrapping them hoses ... how much will you charge to do mine lol ?
Gr8white_jk on ig up in here what up! Haha cant believe how much the jeep has come along since the begging of this channel good job bro that savvy cleaned it up nice!
Good stuff! How difficult was it to remove two old hoses & then re-install the two new hoses from the box to the ram with the box already in place. Tight fit?
The ram itself, whether PSC or RNR, isn't going to make much difference, if any at all. It's the steering gear box...I swapped WTO gear box out for PSC Big Bore and it was night and day. The difference in sector shafts alone was worth the swap. Big Bore was just ridiculously more stout, over 50lbs. Needed an engine hoist to install the damned thing. You might not notice the difference between the 2 on the road but once you lock up front diff and pinned up on the rocks, that's when you'll be like...damn, should've went this route from the get go. By no means am I shitting on WTO, great bang for the buck and if you don't plan on going any bigger than 37s then It'd be all you'd need...and maybe a sector shaft brace but once you go 40s, Big Bore upgrade should be mandatory.
Eventually i may go psc cooler, pump, res, and big bore. I like to piece meal as I go to experience the differences. And for sure, the wto kit is a nice bang for your buck to get into hydro assist.
Yo! Thanks for checking out the vids! I have a lot of fun making these silly things haha
"But because I like doing sh-t the hard way" - 😆 - The story of my life. Thanks for the vid.

What? No comparison? Was there any difference in the steering and drive ability?

And that’s how it’s done boys👍🏼👍🏼
Haha thanks KDG!
Military grade😆
what steering box did you use? or did you tap your own box and if so do you have video?
Red neck ram tapped box. So far so good.
@@JeepArmyUSA sweet thank you im gonna tap my own box till i get a hd one from psc but im not running their ram
How big you going? 37’s? If I had to redo it, I’d go with a tapped hd with psc ram for running 40’s

Just ordered up a PSC big bore with ram setup and definitely want to do the spiral wrap like you did. What size is the spiral wrap that you went with? Thanks
The hydraulic hose was 3/8 and the rhino spiral wrap OD range opening is .39 - .66
Awesome thank you keep up the awesome videos

Lol What up bro! Ya man she’s coming along. That warn fits in there perfectly.

Not too bad. I just took my time and picked the right angles to get to the hose ends on the gearbox. It’s a little tight but totally doable.
How long did the hoses end up being?
Just went out to the garage and on my setup I measured roughly 45 to 48 inches
What length did you go with?
8” travel 1.75” bore
What do you daily drive
Decade old Ford Edge. That’s why it’s in the shop lol
'15 JK
JEEPARMY USA it’s a ford that’s why lol
Sounds like you live in the jungle with all those birds lol
I live in the damn city! These birds just hate me because of my freedoms.
