    Can you please share a video showing techniques on how you can easily remove the polymer clay out of the shape cutters without finger prints or damages?

    • @rvid321
      @rvid321 5 років тому +2

      Dip the cutter in water and then cut the slab.. do it for each cut .. :-)

    • @grittykitty50
      @grittykitty50 5 років тому +5

      You can lightly dust the cutter with cornstarch before cutting or you can also use Saran Wrap or similar on top of the clay and cutting through it. Using the plastic wrap will somewhat round the edges of your pieces.

    Beautiful!! When do you use the glue?? Or is that optional after baking to make it "shiny"? I'm working with polymer clay for the first time. I've seen videos where some people just add clear glue and no baking and that's it??...or Do you do both?

    • @alexandra3804
      @alexandra3804 5 років тому +1

      i'm not an expert but i think the clay that doesn't require baking it's a different type, it's called "air dry clay". to make it shiny i think you need a sealant of some sort. hope this helps x

      there isn’t, i make polymer clay earrings myself and if you just let it dry it will just fall apart when it hardens, not to mention it does not harden quick
