Aloha! If you are looking for a stunning beach on Oahu then check this out! Kailua Beach Park is a marvelous place to spend a few hours or the whole day! This beach is located 30 minutes from Waikiki and I will tell you everything you need to know, so come along on this beach day in paradise.
Kailua Beach is approximately 2 miles long and it has everything. It has soft sand and beautiful ocean views, making it ideal for just hanging out and listening to the tides roll in and enjoying the scenery. This beach is also a popular destination for paddling enthusiasts because it offers excellent conditions for kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, kitesurfing and other water sports.
Kailua Beach Park has showers, restrooms and lifeguards on duty, making it ideal for families and children or keiki, if you want to learn the local lingo.
This beach is located in a charming community and it is free for everyone to enjoy. You can easily access Kailua Beach by public transportation or if you decide to drive there is free public parking available.
Kailua Beach Park is located very close to Lanikai Beach, which has been recognized as one of the best beaches in the world in 2023 and it is often voted as one of the best beaches in the USA. (I have included a link in the description)
